Comments (31)Thanks, Lee and Erin! The doorknob is from Rejuvenation. You can find vintage ones on Ebay, but I took the easy way out and bought new. Once we got in on, I also had to buy the matching adorable starburst doorbell. How could I resist?! We replaced the door and it was really funny when I was getting quotes. Salespeople kept showing me the fancy doors with leaded glass and sidelights, carvings, etc., and I kept having to explain that no, all I want is a plain, flat door. Nothing fancy, nothing interesting. And no upgraded glass on the sidelights - just plain, flat panes of glass. I got some weird looks! Comments (5)@Dig Doug's Designs..... I'm digging (no pun intended!) the look of the two tall conifers on either side (garage and front corner). The stone facade on the street side of the garage is also interesting. Can you tell me what program you used to do this?...See MoreSitting room color ideas?
Comments (11)But Sabrina, the OP doesnt like the wall color! Im sure its a fine color in other contexts, but It doesnt work in combination with the rich gold-brownss of the floor. Now there are warmer/browner grays that could work.... but that aint it. I would start with the floor - get a fan deck from the paint store and find a color or several colors that are close. NOT THAT YOU are going to paint anything that color - good heavens no - just use it for reference when starting your selection process for furniture and furnishings....See MoreRelated Professionals
