No not sheepskin. Just looks like it.. Editing to add, the full price was pretty good at $14.99- but $3.75 was a thrill. I'm sure they're polyester but they really look and feel like sheepskin.

I'm always looking at slippers because I wear them so much that I actually wear them out.

I stocked up on a few of my go-to casual t-shirts from J. Crew Factory, the girlfriend tee, for $19 each. Which doesn’t sound like a bargain after seeing the prices so far, LOL. I have a hard time finding decent cotton casual tees that aren’t too long or too cropped and boxy. These fit me well, and I like the scoop neck version (they come in crew neck, too).

I just purchased two cashmere sweaters at Quince, on sale today.

There's a Home Goods near my dentist, so I make a twice a year visit. I don't know how good the prices are because it's hard to find a comparison. On my visit yesterday, I found a floor lamp for $99, 4 dessert/salad plates at $4.99 each, some glass food storage containers for $3.99 each and a quilted 100% cotton mattress protector for $40.

I just got back. As soon as I saw this I raced down to my local CVS. They had some slippers just like yours but full price only. Wah!

I have been looking for long sleeved, stretchy lace, crew neck tees to go under blazers and to wear with fancier skirts. I walked into Loft the other day because I saw something in the window display that looked like a lace tee but was not. However, the salesperson asked what I wanted and took me right to what I’ve been looking for! I bought two ( ivory and nude) and she ordered a black one for me as they did not have a small in stock. They were 40% off 😁 Deal!

@Kswl do those Loft lace tees have the cami liner built in, or do you have to wear a separate cami underneath it?

Jsk, I wore a nude bra when trying on both the nude and white lace tees and they are substantial enough to not need a cami underneath. I haven’t received the black one yet and it may be a different story.

Re the slippers, I wasn't sure they'd be good ( I know, kind of foolish for $3.75 that I'm debating but I thought if they weren't so good, I don't need more ). They're fine- but interestingly enough I wear a size 8 1/2 or sometimes 9 shoe. The size I bought was LARGE ( for 9 to 10). They fit fine but they're certainly not ok for a sze 10.. Still happy with them.

I'm never swift enough to think I should buy multiples, and when I do it often backfires.

I learned that that particular CVS has bargains. It's not my usual one; it's much nicer and larger and I had never seen such a nice well stocked clearance section before at a CVS.

Salonva - Lucky you! I called my local CVS store this morning as I've been waiting to hear from them about the price for the same ones they were holding for me. I was told that they're going to stay full price. Doesn't endear me to CVS which I've never particularly liked and have always avoided. No reason to change my mind now.

I haven’t seen a Thermapen this low in ages! I love mine and I’ve bought one for DD, DBIL, and DSS. Just realized I haven’t gotten one for my step-daughter and her husband. I’m going to rectify that right now!

I am kind of rebuilding a capsule wardrobe after years of not really buying any clothes (and ending up with a number of suits and dress shirts, and clothes to clean the house in or work out in but very few casual clothes).

And I have found quite a few bargains, where things are 40-50% off, and putting it in an online cart, where if you let it sit, it seems like they will occasionally extend an additional discount, and signing up for texts or emails (to which one can eventually unsubscribe for even more discounts).

I ended up getting a Coach Wallet for $35 instead of $175. It's green and the color is discontinued. And it only discreetly says Coach on it. My current wallet is green, and my mom gave it to me for Christmas, so it's at least 20 years old (she died before Thanksgiving in 2010). I will post a picture of the old one which really is barely held together, at some point.

I have found the same incentives offered when I put things in an online cart or bag and think about them for a few days. I get an email that asks ”Forgot Something?” or announces coyly, ”Your Cart is Calling!” They do track one relentlessly.

Luckily I can't wear many of the expensive clothes I like the look of, because their sizes are so limited that they don't fit. They are all incredibly Long. The models they show are typically 6'1"-2'' wearing a S or M and 32" waist. That's me at around 130 lbs. so I can't imagine they weigh more than about 140 at 6 ft plus.

Songbird Orchids Store, CO: I purchased a LARGE(7'x7") Orchid pot, Reg $40, paid $12! The orchid was $3.50. The store is moving & trying to get rid of ALL stock...quickly!

I got a Ficks-Reed lounge chair, a Vogue lounge chair, a neat little table to go between, a desk chair and 2 barstools, all natural rattan, for $100. DH and DS had a lovely bonding day on the six hour round-trip to pick them up!

I haven't shopped at Talbots in a long time and last week they mailed me a 'we miss you coupon' for $40.00. Over the years I've received $20 off but this is my first forty!

I was in another town yesterday and drove by a thrift shop I had heard about that supposedly has great stuff. The community is much wealthier than many in our area and I stopped in. It was enormous and I only scratched the surface but found a fun and stylish vintage spring coat for EIGHT DOLLARS! The brand is Evan Picone, which was popular in the 60’s and 70’s, less so in the 80’s and gone (I think) by the 90’s. They supplied the wardrobe for the Mary Tyler Moore Show (how I admired her look!) and I bought it having no idea when I would wear it or with what. Tonight I tried it on with a variety of things and it is SO bossy in navy with pink flowers it demands a neutral base. We go to early church on Palm Sunday and Easter and it is usually still cold in the mornings, so I am wearing white slacks, a light pink shirt and pink suede loafers under the coat. Being dark — and apparently I don’t have great lighting in my closet— you can’t see the princess seaming, the slight flare from the waist, the half belt buttoned on in the back and of course the hot pink lining!

Tomorrow I am going through my spring /summer clothing and digging out my knee length white jean skirt as I think that might work as well or better. Eight. Dollars. !

I’ve made some comparisons and HomeGoods’ prices can be very good. For example, a tablecloth I bought there once was $12.99. When I looked online the price range for the exact same one was $30-$45. Good prices on dishware and cookware, too. I’ve picked up Le Creuset Dutch ovens for drastically lower prices. I also once found two Le Creuset pie plates in their clearance aisle for $3 each. It can be hit or miss but great when there are hits. Luckily, our HG is a mile from home so I’m always checking.

Wow great deals, Nicole! I am intrigued by the Ironman watch. I have had a fitbit for quite a few years. and am mostly pleased. I really only want the time , step tracking, and heart rate. I disable all the fancy features it offers so I think if /when it gives me grief, I will definitely entertain the Ironman. I always loved Timex!!
