I don’t feel that Hallmark carried as many lighter colors but def check them out. If anyone near you carries the Wicander’s Hydrocork line they make beautiful floors, too. Have some lovely light colors. Karndean makes Korlock which also has beautiful floors. And Southwind has some new ones that have a small bevel and the colors are muted. looked at these and ordered samples online from American Carpet Wholesalers in Dalton, Ga. the Timber Lodge and Prairie Grass were really pretty. I didn’t mind a small bevel but I didn’t care for the large bevel. My husband didn’t want it at all so we have no real bevel. (Also, some floors have a micro bevel which to me looks more like wood.) it’s all personal pref and I used instagram to do a lot of research on how the product looks down in real homes. The company pix always look weird and unrealistic. Let me know how it goes! Can’t wait to see what you find and what you choose:)

I’m looking for vinyl flooring for a new build. I’ll be laying about 3800 sq feet on our main level. I’ve always had wood floors but with big dogs they just end up looking terrible. My son has Southwind Authentic Plank in his house. It’s been down about 4 1/2 years and looks great. No scratches or dents I could see. With two kids, a large dog and a cat I’d say that’s pretty amazing. He does have one plank that moves and leaves a space but the rest have been stable. May have been an installation issue. This flooring is definetely on the top of my list for my new house. Also saw it in a showroom and it looked great there as well. It was in a furniture/flooring store so it gets lots a heavy furniture moved across it. Again I saw no scratches.

They are holding up just fine. The one thing I would do over again is not have them install the 1/4” round at the walls. My walls already had crown molding on bottom of walls. Buffalo Floors and Up simply decided to go up to existing crown molding and then laid 1/4” round for transition. In hind sight I would have removed the crown molding and had them lay planks to the wall and relay the crown molding. Hind sights 20-20 though.

Thank you all. I have lived with that refrigerator sticking out for 20 years and never even noticed it! But, we will be needing a new one and I will keep that in mind. I cannot believe everyone picked the same floor (and it was my least favorite, so now I'm thinking!). I have always had an issue with lighting in this kitchen. I will definitely update my pot lights with the 4000K. I had always bought "warm" ones. Gives me lots of food for thought! And, yes, I have a runner. It just doesn't show up in the visualization photos. As far as the floor stretching into the other rooms, I was wondering if something in the "brownish" range would work. Here is a sample I just picked up, but I can't use it in the visualizer. I know I would love it in the other rooms.
