I'm going in tomorrow to look for it, faith. I'm sorry to hear about your finish. That's frustrating. No pitting on ours. It's my son's apartment off the house so he's the only one using it. But there are some scratches. Those grates are so heavy, that it is hard to position them over the holes. That's what the scratches are from. If I were you, I'd go above Pacific Sales and give Viking a call. That really shouldn't happen in three months. I know Wolf is really good in their customer service department. I know someone that works there and he says that if the customer is nice and not demanding, they will do whatever they can to help. Why don't you do a post about the pitting on Vikings and maybe you can get info from other Viking owners. I just redid my island. I put in Wolf's 15 inch modules, one induction, a steamer and a multipurpose gas. I like my gas much more than my son's because it is a closed unit. It's stainless and so easy to clean. Don't put it off, call asap. and keep me posted. Good luck.

Problem solved. After scrubbing out every square inch of my Kitchenaid French door refrigerator (freezer on the bottom), the growing stench of fish was really upsetting! I called my mechanical engineer ex boyfriend for help. He discovered the problem and fixed it! He said that when one opens the big French refrigerator doors, a large air exchange occurs. Couple that with we live in a humid climate. This causes condensation. At some point, a small amount of water pooled at the bottom of the frig area. (Not all that easy to access, but can be done.) The water had bacteria growing in it, which caused the fishy odor. That’s why the smell was worse when the fan was blowing. We sprayed it with some bleach water, dried it up thoroughly, put it back together and voila! Problem solved. I owe the man big time!

I am not fixing our turkey this year, as we are going to our granddaughter's, but I never roast our turkey, I guess you would call it baked. The seasoning for it are as follows, lots of salt inside, a stick of real butter and rum or rum flavoring. It is put breast down either in a roasting pan and covered tightly with foil or in a baking bag. Before sealing up add a pint or so of water. Then let it bake away for near 4 hours. I always fix mine the day before dividing the light and dark meat in separate pans. Heat in oven the next day with some of the broth from the turkey. The broth is used to make gravy and it is very good. This recipe came from my Hawaiian cousin and since tasting his, this is the only way we fix ours. Nice and moist and tasty. Happy Thanksgiving. I have never used that paint...is it runny and sort of loose bodied? You don't really have to worry about overloading the roller I don't think, but when you dip your sleeve and start rolling a section, the area where you start has all the heavy paint and that has to be spread out. If you don't spread it out enough then that could sag. Also, temperature may make a difference. If the room is cold or the wall itself is cold, the paint may not dry as fast as it supposed to and can sag. Also, sometimes when you are rolling top to bottom, when you change directions at the top, some people that are pushing too hard on the sleeve can leave a small hill of paint there. Is that what happened? You want to not push hard on the sleeve, especially when you change directions. While the paint is curing, it may be hard to remove drips without pulling the paint film around so you need to be careful. You can try denatured alcohol on a rag lightly to try to rub the drip down or you can try lightly sanding with 150 grit. The paint can take up to a month to fully cure so until then you really can't scrub it or sand it harshly without turning it into a rubbery mess. Can't you cut-in around the wires and cables with a brush prior to rolling? Paint doesn't clog up the sink but you don't want to pour mass amounts of paint down your drain if you can help it. You can squeeze most of the paint out of your rollers back into the can before you begin to wash them.
