SW White flour for walls & ceiling what color can I choose for doors?

Hi my walls and cielings are painted in Sherwin williams white flour what other white can i choose for the door and its casing?

I find mixing whites often ends up not good IMO use the same color but in a satin or semigloss sheen it will lok a bit different but no new undertones that might not work. You say one door so maybe a bit more info is this is just one room in a home

Don't try to mix whites, use one for everything and let the gloss levels create the difference

computer monitors show things so differently, but it is most definitely 25 to 30% lighter than this swatch grabbed from the computer. Shoji White or Heron Plume you may be interested in yet be mindful of undertones and always test and look from AM to PM as colors change so much and especially whites and grays. I was very pleased Aesthetic White and will use it more as it never changed from room to room in this particular job and feel it would pair well with most colors. It was a nice white, very, very slightly warm with NO yellow or creamy tone. Computer swatches are really so off so take the above with a grain of salt and test it if you think you might be interested. Good luck!

Jaime, I feel your pain! The decision making is killing me! Believe it or not, I still haven’t decided on wall colors. My cabinets and trim are going to be Sherwin Williams Pure White. Walls may also be Pure White. Otherwise they’ll be a very light greige or off white. Fortunately for me, the house is still under construction and I still have time to ponder! Pretty all of my choices have changed since I made this post. If you google Kylie M. Interiors, she is a fan of Whte Duck so she may have ideas for trim color. Good luck!

These are from the Yellow Hue Family. It depends upon how light + how colourful, or near to neutral you wish to go + what your inherent lighting can best support? If you have lower levels of light, slightly more colourful whites may feel less gloomy than the most neutral types of whites. Extra White is from the Green-Yellow Hue Family. Chantilly Lace is a very near neutral white from the Green-Yellow Hue Family.

Here you go: Primer: SW PrepRite ProBlock Latex White Ceiling: SW SuperPaint Interior Acrylic with Air Purifying Technology Flat Extra White Trim: SW Pro Classic Waterborne Interior Acrylic Enamel Extra White My contractor deals with SW so I got his discount there. I actually have always used BM paint, so all my walls are BM colors, and the SW Extra White looks beautiful with all of them. I’m very pleased with the application of both brands. So far I’ve used BM Balboa Mist, BM Proposal, BM Beacon Gray, and am now considering BM Portland Gray. I should be done painting all the rooms in January. Hope that helps. Sherwin-Williams White Flour (SW 7102) is a warm, creamy white with subtle beige undertones. For contrast white you can go with Sherwin-Williams Pure White (SW 7005) and for softer harmonious look you can go for Sherwin-Williams Greek Villa (SW 7551). for total contrast use Sherwin-Williams Accessible Beige (SW 7036) and Sherwin-Williams Retreat (SW 6207)

White Flour has an LRV of 87, where Greek Villa and Pure White have an LRV of 84, just slightly darker than White Flour. The undertones are also quite different with White Flour having a soft peach undertone. It will make both Greek Villa and Pure White feel dingy in comparison.
