Thanks Ingrid, after seeing so beautiful gardens here, including yours which is gorgeous beyond comparison, I was very reluctant to show mine because of limits of space or specific plan or experience...I have no space but I have packed so many roses they have to struggle with each other. actually the Burbouns including Louise Odier have some mold, maybe because it is too humid or because of rapid change in temperature. I try not to use chemicals as much as possible.

I have about 14 zillion buds ready to pop but the stupid rain is slowing them down :(

Thanks Beth, Kathy and Florence..It took awhile to try to figure out how to post photos again, after Image Shack changed things up and its nothing like it was,and no instrutions on how to do anything.My photo's are not nearly as nice as you all post, but,I have fun doing it anyway. I don't have half the roses this year as I had.One whole bed got demoslished with some thing, that made tunnels and ate all the roots off the roses,and they died.Only 2 roses left in it,and one of them is not looking great.I have gotten into Daylilies now,and I am filling the bed with them.They are a lot less work then roses, but, them deer love them, too. Thank you all for your kind remarks. Virginia, yes ARE was my main supplier. I have 14 roses in the 1/16 Tea garden, but a couple are Chinas. I got all but two at ARE. Greenmantle sent me Anna Olivier and Devoniensis. I have since those first Teas also bought Teas from RVR and rosepetal, and Burlington. We finally should get warm next week and I'm looking forward to blooms starting. Banksia are just starting here. We're almost a month behind last Spring. ARE roses surely do seem to be the largest I've found. They really can have a little more strength at first. I don't believe I've ever had a rose die from ARE in my 20 years plus ordering from them including to Alaska. I'm so impressed with what Teas can do in a year. I'm looking forward to the monsters, Melissa.
