I wouldn't tile an entire basement. I'd use an LVP wood look, or an engineered wood floor. for all but baths. Use area rugs too

Nobody wants to google the tile for which you have no pictures.

IMO tile floors are cold on feet even on upper floors and in a basement no way I love our LVP flooring in our walk out it is old scahool LVP so we did dri-core under it to help with a bit warmer floor. The new LVP can go everywhere even in the bathroom but I would do asubfloor first then the LVP I see the tile but no idea of how those would work in a space we do not see .Check out a ll the new types of dri-core that work with the new LVPs

I wouldn't tile a basement floor, regardless of the heating system.

It reads cold and sterile. along with vinyl plank, cork would be a nice option.

Area rugs, for sure... you can change them out when your style changes.

You can't heat LVP. You're stuck with tile. Nobody can advise which tile, Depends your furnishings, fabrics , vanity and kitchen cabinetry etc,

You can use underfloor heating with Marmoleum. It's a natural product and comes in tons of colors, patterns and sizes. Not sure why anyone would want to use toxic LVP/LVT when they could use something natural.

hyaluronic underfloor heat under concrete allows for any type of flooring.

I find wood look tile is nicer than LVP.

Wood look tile now being installed in the basement of our new build.

In-floor hydronic heating.

In past builds, we've used polished slate and rough quartzite flooring above-grade as well.

A client loved their polished granite flooring. No worries about high-heels wrecking wooden floors!

(I guess we're just cold and heartless people.)
