Hey, I like your name! Assuming you are in SRQ, you have to consider that the very bright coastal light may wash out a pale color. You could take a cue from your surroundings for a color if you want the house to nestle into the surrounndings. (It doesn't sound like you're after the cottage brights!) There was contemporary house on my street with several estate-sized royal palms out front. They painted the house the same gray as the trunks. Most people probably didn't notice the connection, in fact after driving by day after day for years, I didn't notice it either. My BIL pointed it out to me! I think is it good to drive around and see what appeals to you. If it matters to you, I would also look at what your neighbors have done and try to set your color scheme apart. Hop in the boat and have a look-see.

Your realtor must be getting a kick back from a contractor. Did he/she recommend anyone to do the work for you? Other than decluttering, your kitchen looks fine. Your kitchen wouldn't keep me from buying your house. Whatever you do, don't install painted bead board as a backsplash. It may be trendy, but it is not practical for anyone that actually cooks, and those potential buyers will know that they will have to tear that out almost immediately.

My mom has a different Ethan Allen Georgian Court style secretary desk - yours looks different than hers which is designed to be able to sit at and there’s no hutch upper piece, but I know they added to the collection at various points. I got a glass shop to custom cut pieces of glass for putting over the tops of the desk, dresser, and end tables - extra protection and forgiving of when people forgot coasters for under their drinks. I love solidly made wood furnishings. I seem to be one of the few who actually wanted/wants their parents’ things, luckily everything we had made it through the cross country move we did last August! Saved the budget for the new fancy tv, granite counters and such - not that it’s easy to find Georgian Court anymore, I’ve had people want to buy ours!
