@Fun2BHere - Thank you! How long does it take for your CMW to get to cooking temperature? I think that is my big question. The toaster oven and air fryer being small appliances are almost instantaneous, so you're just dealing with the cooking time not preheat time. Does the CMW preheat fast enough to be "convenient"? Last night it was just the kids and me, so I pulled out the air fryer and cooked some frozen hamburger patties, it was 14 minutes from the time I decided to cook them to eating. No idea how long they'd take in the oven, I've only cooked fresh homemade (much thicker) burgers in that and they take at least 25 minutes after the oven preheats which I'd be lucky to have happen in 14 minutes. @plllog true, you know I never have tried pizza in my Air Fryer, it would probably work fine. I'll try it next time! I keep it in the pantry so it needs pulled out to use, and its round, which I find awkward for things. It was a gift and quite nice but not what I would have chosen. I am trying to get the toaster oven off the counter, but it would also be nice to open space in my pantry too and if I decide the CMW won't work this is the best alternative suggestion. @User thank you for the suggestion! I'll look into those and check out their sizes. In my search I have been leaning towards models that have racks inside. I feel like being able to have food suspended probably helps cook it better.

I’m looking for the same and wonder what the OP chose? I need the micro function because I’m a sipper and warm up coffee a lot, heat water for tea. Plus leftovers and steaming broccoli etc. I also love my countertop air fryer. So fast for those fries and pizza heat ups for grandkids. Also great for making a few cookies from the dough that I freeze. It’s be great to have a good air fry micro combo. My counters are so cluttered drives me and my husband crazy but I can’t be bothered with hauling things out all the time. Toaster too. Kitchenaid mixer I’ve had for 45 years, which is heavy. Suggestions?

Hi, I am a chef and cook a lot. I have a brand new Miele range, a whynter steam countertop oven in my pantry (which is fantastic, espcially for steaming) and I purchasee the sharp convection/air fry microwave drawer. The time it takes to reheat something is double what my last microwave was. I heated a bowl of soup and it took 8 minutes. I used the covection bake mode to cook 4 baked potatoes and after one hour,,,it still didn't cook them through. I had to use my miele range to finish them. I was so excited to purchase this microwave and now I'm dissapointed. I will call a tech next week to see if there is something wrong. It was a lot of money and the "cut out" in the cabinets are much larger than a standard microwave, so I feel kind of stuck now with this appliance. Huge Upset! Also,,,,as I am reading comment I saw the post about not toasting as it should. I agree. One side gets toasted and you have to flip it over! Its not even and it's a pain in the $%^#$$%

Any recommendation for built in 30” microwave (top) and oven (bottom) that also comes with air fryer (no preheat) and steam functions? The microwave and oven don’t need to be the same brand. And the oven doesn’t need to be a large one. I think the combo that makes sense would be microwave with air fryer, oven with steam. I was looking at either Miele or Wolf for the steam oven. How useful is the steam function?
