I think you achieved a good result. you can maintain your smaller space it appears w your good storage and not have a lot of "stuff" for the eyes to move around and notice . Bigger spaces can have baskets cutting boards etc laying out ..... be happy you have a clean looking minimlaistic styled kitchen , which is ideal given the small space.

I'd live with it for a while. I think it is fine. Your counters feel neutral and are a bridge between the cooler tile and warmer cabinets. Neither the cabinets nor the tiles are extremes of warm and cold. It is refreshing to see a little color now and again!

I think it looks really nice! One slight change might be the wall colour, particularly as the wall paint showing at the top of the short wall cabinets looks a bit yellowy cream. It might be nice to do a slightly cooler greyish white. But it’s hard to say for sure as I can only see one photo of your kitchen.

I think I would just wait and see how you feel about it. I think it looks fine - but I agree with Wendy H that your wall paint is a bit too yellow. I would think about selecting a new paint color to try on your kitchen walls.

I think it looks great! You have a lovely neutral kitchen. Keep in mind, that when you get anything new installed, it takes awhile to get used to it. Change, even an improvement, takes time to get used to. You can use all kinds of colorful or neutral accents (curtains, towels, bins, floor mats, etc.) to add your personality to your kitchen.

I agree with the others - it works. And it looks nice with that tile installation pattern.

The gray works with the SS...but gray is well gray and that's a downer.

I agree the wall color i where a change could make it all work so maybe a reall pale grayed green with just a hint of color would do the trick and make the gray in the splash work

Yeah the wall color changes from white to yellow to pink throughout the course if the day. Hoping when I get lighting, microwave surround etc., remove paper from floor…it’ll tie together and I’ll stop thinking about it! And then of course the lovely high rise vent and sprinkler. Ugh!

Looking good! The wall color is the last piece of the puzzle. It’s definitely reading too warm for the other elements.

Sorry to say it looks washed out, though it’s quite a classy (and classic) look. We had the same problem when we bought our house: all grey appliances, grey stone floor and beige walls. I trusted my instincts and we put in a backsplash around the stove and sink of horizontal tiles in a simple true red. Risky but it paid off—everyone who sees it loves it. i can dig up a pic if you want but my advice is to follow your instincts. You already have, in the sense that you know something is missing. you can test the waters by placing a largish (size of a teapot at the least) object in your favourite colour in the area for a few days to see how it works. best of luck.

I like it. You can add some contrast/jazz it up with accessories if you want. Changing the wall to a cooler tone will pull it together -- the current wall color is too warm for the cooler-toned fixed elements.

I like it too - I also like the wall color (but i am cream and white girl for sure) maybe a washable runner in the kitchen to bring the tones together?

The splash looks really great with the appliances and hardware. Agree the wall color could be better.

I agree the wall color blends too much with the cabinets . I also think you may try a matte black hardware see what that does. The backsplash is a nice complement to the cabinet tone. Too warm it would all look too much alike.

What about a soft gray pulled from the tile? You already have lots of warm tones in the cabs and floor. Here is a sketch of my concept...not paint colors, just tryiing to visualize. Paint companies have visulizers online you can try out.

Undercabinet lights some magnetic. Better light fixture for kitchen. Paint the walls. Maybe show us some swatch colors we can help you if not sure if look right. Also maybe art work on wall next to the sink also knife wall holder. Also right now your renovating it so going feel cold. I find some colored items like colored glass despenser for dish soap, colored crock utensil holder, floor rug will create more lived in feel but not cluttered. I use my appliances for color. Stand mixer (robin egg), i have magnetic sheets on my wall ends next my stove and sink put hooks add colored spatulas cooking tools my kitchen small so use walls since not much counter space. Choose colors you like make it feel more homey and personal for your tastes.

….moving on to the bedroom… has anyone used Sherwin Williams Natural Linen? . It’s a bright room, big North facing windows.
