peren.all - I think you may be correct about my Earth Angel. I never questioned it before but comparing it to othersl and the HL it does have quite rippled/pie crust edges. I've had it for so long and never really paid much attention to it. Hmmm, wonder what it could be? Thank you Edited to add - I looked at the Dan Rawson list for rippled hosta in the HL. Good lord, it would take me years to try to compare them all.

Paula, two minutes, YIKES! The three cats come first. I’d have to stay calm so they wouldn’t get scared and hide. And I’d try for the outside cat, too. My two bug out bags and my purse. Living in Florida, you must have a plan, but with hurricanes I imagine that you have a little more time to load up the car. Debra, it is a mind-boggling exercise to think of what we would take and how to get the cats. I couldn’t help laughing at the eye poke photo. But it looks very uncomfortable and unnatural. Years later Madonna resurrected that look. I don’t have any good K pics even though I have a Krossa Regal. I like all the ones I see here, especially when they show off their blue coloring. My Komodo Dragon is making a comeback so hopefully next year will be more photogenic. Ann, sixteen KRs, Wow!

Never odd or even. I’ve never seen that one before. Clever people who notice these things. I like the blues so I’m especially liking all the Neptunes here. Beautiful hosta. Old_dirt, I moved NBC a few times before mine dwindled away. It seems to be a finicky one for some of us. Mbug/Mike, that’s too bad about your Bridal Falls. It was so pretty before, and it seems like it happened so fast! And the current green one doesn’t look to have the form of NF, either. I had a similar experience with Brother Stefan. From special to plain green before I knew what was happening. I moved it into more sun thinking that was the problem, but no. Ann, what?!? You have daffodils now? Is that normal for your area in January? I’m still two or more months away from seeing even my early ones. But they’re very pretty and makes it look like it’s already spring at your house.

debra..I like your chartreuse NOID 👍..I can't help with the ID..my Abiqua Drinking Gourd seems more cupped than the NOID of yours that you thought could be ADG.. Laurie..I tried to find more photos of my NOID..even a group shot that I could crop..no luck..the leaves and the overall size are on the small side..I don't recall the flowers..my guess is if it had flowers they weren't special..

I’ve swatted at a dot here and there, usually on my pillow when I first wake up. Darn eye floaters. 😊 Naked running used to mean streaking.

I think you need to be a true hosta lover to appreciate the flowers like we do.
