My mom used to crack us up. She she had a full plate, did a lot and did everything well, BUT, she would call one of us and momentarily forget our name, so list one name after another —- Abigail, Elizabeth, Susie, Robert, Thomas….

I do this all the time…forget someone’s name right after being introduced.

(a little trick if i can manage it is repeating the name in my head 4-5 times)

If I find myself in a room and forgot my purpose, I find it helps just to physically walk back to where I was.
