It can be hard to patch brick so it blends with the original -

you could opt to change the front widows/doors & patch with brick and then paint the brick so it looks uniform

It does not have two front doors.

It has a front door, and a utility door that happens to be in the front. The front door opens into the living room or an entry foyer. The utility door opens into a laundry room, mudroom, or kitchen.

Part of giving the house a 'mid-century vibe' is understanding how the house functioned mid-century.

Thank you for enlightening me about the utility door. I always thought utility doors were on the back or side of a house.

Before I fussed too much with making the house look more mid-century modern, I’d make that door blend into the background as much as possible. Is it used much? In an ideal world I’d take away the step, stoop, and door and put a window there.

If you paint window trim black is it durable? I think black would be an improvement. I'm not a fan of the white trim or the white doors.

I am now leaning toward keeping both doors and making the utility door blend in with the rest of the house as littlebug and lisedv suggested.

I like the look of this door for the front door but in a pop of color.
