Rippled margined hosta should I buy?
Comments (11)Thanks all - Ken, I am way beyond budgeting money for hostas cause I have nothing to budget, so I just spend if I have a penny. (LOL) I bought a small Emerald Ruff Cut(before I learned they are slow and tricky to grow) and a Stained Glass yesterday and have no idea where to put them. I spent a good part of today in and out of my airconditioned house. I planted 7 hosta over many hours working up a huge sweat with each hole dug in 90 degree + heat, then cooling down checking all of your suggestions in Hostapedia. What a great day. Hopefully I will be able to let you know my top ten from your recommendations. Les...See MoreHosta Margins vrs Streakers

Comments (22)debra..I like your chartreuse NOID 👍..I can't help with the ID..my Abiqua Drinking Gourd seems more cupped than the NOID of yours that you thought could be ADG.. Laurie..I tried to find more photos of my NOID..even a group shot that I could crop..no luck..the leaves and the overall size are on the small side..I don't recall the flowers..my guess is if it had flowers they weren't special.....See MoreHosta Best of Hosta Worst of 2024 ......
Comments (14)I loved the brothers joke, so true at times. Here are a couple of my favorites from last year: Komodo Dragon One Last Dance Now the ones which are struggling: Atlantis - I am not sure if it has the Hosta X virus, I potted it up and replanted a Peony in it's place Dancing With Dragons - hopefully it comes back this year Diamond Lake - After potting it, it put out some new leaves so I am hoping it does better this year First Blush - This is the best it did last year, no blush and it declined from here. Limetini - Just kept getting smaller every year so now it is in a pot Little Treasure - Also kept getting smaller every year so now it is also in a pot Pandora's Box - It's holding on but that is about it Rhino Hide - Ever since a tree fell on it it has been getting smaller. So now it is in a pot and hopefully the roots will grow again...See MoreRelated Professionals
