Need suggestions...Exterior paint colors
Comments (3)Pretty house. I think the colors that are on there go very nice with your stone. I would repaint the same color. I notice on both sides of you, the house is a brown color, and your house looks nice with them too....See MoreSuggestions for exterior paint color and trim?
Comments (15)I really appreciate these suggestions and visuals - thank you! I will take pictures from some additional angles; the house is very boxy, and is currently one color of stucco all around, with one trim color (dark brown), with virtually no relief or break-up of that vast expanse of off-white stucco. I have been thinking about making the front porch body a shade or two lighter (or darker) than the body of the house to add a dimension/ depth; adding shutters to the 2nd floor windows is something I hadn't considered but helps add interest - thanks houssaon for that idea! Oh - there are no flower boxes on the 2nd floor - just on the outside of the enclosed front porch (which is basically the whole 1st floor you can see from this picture). OK, more to come soon - thank you for these suggestions!...See MoreCan you suggest an exterior paint color for my house
Comments (23)cat_ky I love my existing color too, but my husband wants to change it. I want to thank you all for your suggestions. It helped us decide on the colors to sample. We will try to patch test all the colors (SW accessible beige 7036, SW 7037 Balanced Beige, our existing color - i don't know the shade yet, SW greige, Diamond vogel 0225) and then go from there....See More1985 house HELP I need suggestions on exterior paint colors
Comments (2)It's a great house. These 'shed' houses look best to me monochromatic- I would paint everything (except the stone) Sherwin Williams Black Fox or Urbane Bronze. When you can afford it the deck handrails could use updating ( I would replace some sections with stadium stairs and others with glass). Otherwise punch up the landscaping a bit and you are good to go. The pine next to the house is so pretty, I don't love the cedar between the garage and the entrance, it looks like it is in the way?...See MoreRelated Professionals
