"Does anyone know what these "ground level" lights are called - and is there any comparable product on houzz or some other site where I can potentially find a replacement?" Post lamps,available anywhere outdoor lighting is sold. As far as the "ground level"part,taller posts will make them"eye level" or "rooftop level".

dalmcc our door is 36", and it looks perfectly fine in our entryway - which is not particularly wide but very high. as far as "feeling" big enough, it's great. we love it. but yours will depend on how wide is your entry wall is can we see pics?

Since my original post we've now replaced all windows (could not convince DH to let go of the "shudders"), single exterior doors, sliders, and started on the pathway up to the front doors... One option that was recently suggested was to keep them, leave the bottom 2 panels and cut out the top 6 to add a glass insert & 2 x 3 exterior grilles (it would look like the doors Patricia posted, minus the arch). We'd then repaint the doors & sidelights to a greyish navy to complement the granite fieldstone & breakup all the white. The double storm doors would be removed. Has anyone done this? The doors are cedar (1969) and in really good shape - we just need to get more natural light into our front entry...

We did consider that, but we like that we can open both doors to move large items through and love the look of the double door. @strategery, both the active and inactive doors are each 3 feet wide, which feels plenty big for us. :)
