Off the subject : knee pain New floors will hopefully help your knee. You may want to try a cushion work matt with floor grip until you get new floor in front of sink or stove for your knee. I have several aches these days,too. There are lots of options of cushion mats online. Make sure it's anti-slip. @Mary Tillios thank you, to clarify, we're using just one type of subway tile in one bathroom. I'm debating using it at all because we already have a different type of white subway tile in another bathroom upstairs. I was wondering if it will look like the renovations were done by different homeowners or done at very different times, because the wall tile I have is the super plain, cheap white subway and the one installed in the upstairs bathroom is pricier with a undulated look to it .

I love the vanity so please do not ruin it by painting. I think maybe just a big piece of art on the large wall and walls the same color as the white in the floor.IMO any patterened wall paper will fight with that floor so at best a textured wall paper maybe. I would paint one wall black and put that art on that wall
