Your kitchen is almost identical to mine -- or the one I will have when I am finished -- except stove and sink are reversed, but I have not had the same considerations in my planning. Pots and pans confounded me more than almost anything else. I found the divided drawers and the drawer-front pull-out shelves, which were way better than the fixed bottom shelf of the base we have them in now. But you know when you just have a feeling that there is something different that would be better for you personally? I had that feeling, until I finally found the pullout base with the pegboards on which you place hooks for the pots and pans to hang on. Rev-a-shelf makes them, not sure who else. They may have even been posted here recently. My all-time favorite, which I am disappointed not to be able to use, is akin to a pot rack which hangs from the ceiling, but this is mounted inside a tall pantry pullout as the top tier of storage. That was what I had been looking for. I'm also picturing, if you can do any tall pullouts, being able to put the kinds of things you are describing on those shelves in a 15-18" wide cabinet. If that's out of the question, Starcraft has an article about using deeper cabinets. They recommend 16" up top, but on the bottom you'd need 30" deep, and the uppers would be closer to the counters. See the link below. Here is a link that might be useful: Starcraft article...See MoreNeed help w/great room - decor + drapery PICS

The first thing I would do is paint the small wall that the fireplace is on (just the little angled one) in a rich rusty fall red. Take the "H" and mount it above the tv, centered, and then add a wood curlique appliques on either side, painted black. Something like this, that will pick up on the shape of the arms of the couch and loveseat. You can get them at most home centers and some of the larger craft stores. Or, iron ones will work if you can find those. first ones on the page Take the couch and put it directly across from the fireplace, at the same angle. Put the loveseat to the left of the couch, at a right angle. Get a table between them to anchor the arrangement, with a lamp if you can. Once you do that, your little black chest may have to move. You could try it under the window, and add a colorful bench cushion on top. A fabric or leather ottoman, maybe round, would be a nice addition to work as a table and additional seating when you need it and would pick up on the curves of the furniture. I don't mind the clock being on that wall, and in fact I think you need some taller things there to balance the fireplace and the windows with the drapery when you get it. What I would do is once you move the furniture, take a look at that wall. You might add some floating shelving that is arranged in some kind of staggered fashion with the clock as a part of the grouping. That would be a place to add some touches of color with vases, art leaning on the shelves, etc. If there is room below that, you could add a console table and lamp there. As for your counter stools, I would do them in a brown-black, that would bring out the colors in the cabinetry but not be as strong as a solid black. Colorful cushions would be a nice addition if you like. Then bring in the drapery/window treatments in the dining area. Add a throw and a few pillows. Maybe a runner on the dining table with some red. If you are worried about the fall leaves feeling out of place year 'round, look for some berry stems in the reddish color, or some tall orchid stems in that color (oncidiums or cymbidiums would be nice). Mix in some grassy stems and a couple of larger green leaves, and it will work for you....See MoreWhite wall and trim color to go with Kelly Moore Cloud White Cabinets

KM Swiss Coffee appears to have a pink undertone rather than a yellow Almost identical to SW White Flour (and BM Swiss Coffee has the pink undertone too) Compare it next to Dunn Edwards which has more yellow to it. Do you see the diff? 2000K lighting is horrible for selecting paint colors. it will cast a orange/yellow hue over everything. You can't pick a trim color w/that lighting. You will over compensate and pick something cooler when all you need is a cooler light. 4000K, as mentioned earlier, is what you need. look at the diff in a 2000 to a 4000. trust me. get this lighting and get a sample door. You haven't mentioned the countertop, have you? what color is it? As for the cabinet painter, he should be able to paint a sample door for you! not a big deal. You need to have one in hand when choosing a countertop. the last thing you want is a white quartz and your cabinets come back a very warm, yellowish white!. I had mine painted and chose Simply White. The painters gave me a sample door to show what the lacquer conversion looks like and ended up going one shade brighter. But my walls and trim are Simply White and they look identical This is all natural light. It's not a cool white. just a neutral, fresh white. This color trim paired w/your Swiss Coffee walls would look nice. would look similar to this wall/trim duo or you could try SW Alabaster if you want something a tad warmer head over here to create your own color palette https://kellymoore.com/mycolorstudio-color-palette Here are two palette w/KM Swiss Coffee and coordinating colors: These are nice and would look great w/your flooring I like these w/blues too.
