Single serve coffee makers DECISION MADE

I've never had Keurig type coffee maker - we drink enough coffee each morning that it doesn't make sense for us. However I saw a cute little Keurig mini at the grocery store and thought it might be nice to have one for guests who prefer decaf or even a cup of tea. I have friends who prefer both of these things which we generally don't have around. I started looking into it and found at least this Keurig model gets terrible reviews as do some of the others. Then I started thinking about other brands. Nespresso gets good reviews but I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars for something that won't be used all that often plus I liked the idea of the small, compact unit. If I ever want just one cup of coffee I do pour over but for guests it would be nice to have an easier, no muss-no fuss solution. I brought my own Starbucks pods for the TX GTG AirBnB Keurig and the coffee was great so another reason I thought this might be a nice to have item. Anyone have experience with/thoughts about this kind of product?
