I am not sure why you can't have a polished nickel single-handle gooseneck faucet. There are a number of manufacturers who make them. Just off the top of my head, without researching, I can think of Rohl, Hansgrohe, Kohler (particularly the Kohler Vinnata), and my favorite, Newport Brass. But there are others. I really like their products. Though pricey, it's high-quality, and their finishes are top-notch. Sometimes Newport Brass has a long lead time though, but not always. But there are several other manufacturers who make polished nickel faucets. BTW, since you said you're not sure the difference bet. a pull-out and a pull-down, they are as follows: it's pretty much explained by their names. A pull-down faucet points straight down; many people feel they are more ergonomic to use. Some gooseneck pull-downs are very tall; you need to make sure you have the height clearance for them. I myself have a pull-out (the Grohe Ladylux Plus) which, well, pulls out instead of down. I don't find my pull-out to be un-ergonomic at all, and I like that it reaches across more towards the middle in my sink, rather than pointing down and closer to the edge. But that's just my taste. I've got the same set up. I've got the Shaw's farm sink with the prep sink in the island. (I just bought the house.) The previous owner installed the Whitehaus Vintage III with two different spouts/spigots. While the bases of the faucets are exactly the same size, the spouts are different shapes. You might try that approach. There are pictures below. I am having to replace the Whitehaus cartridges because of a slow drip on both faucets. They are 10 years old. At least they are available. I spent hours trying to figure out what brand and design that had been installed. If it had been me, I would have selected a different arrangement. I prefer the single sprayer with a soap dispenser arrangement. The two separate hot and cold controls are extra motions. With the cross handles, I can never remember which way to turn them to turn them off. The lever handles might be better. The Shaw's sink doesn't drain well. It requires the use of the sprayer arm every time I do something. It's very deep and hard on your back. It's pretty, but I would rather have my old Kohler Strive single bowl with a grid. I do like the fact that the drain is in the corner. The ceramic finish seems to be holding up to time and use. At this point in life, I don't think anyone builds a good faucet. I long for the days when you could just stick a new washer in the faucet. I might suggest saving my money and buying something cheaper than the Rhol, Perrin and Rowe. Kohler, Moen and Delta actually have good warranties and stand behind them. Everyone else seems to be a reseller. Pretty, but flawed. The truth is if this is incredibly important to match both style and finish, you choose the most difficult thing first, and match the less difficult to that choice which IS more limited, as is the market for appliance pulls in Polished Nickel . I'll make a couple of comments that are related but not quite in line with the specifics I think you are requesting. First, I also don't much care for gold fixtures, even on automobiles. To me it just seems to clash with some of the natural colors and materials I like to use. Chrome is less of a problem with me but I really like polished nickel. To me, it is quietly lustrous but doesn't try to outshine the rest your colors and furnishings. I think your wall colors, trim, lavatory, and any tile or wood should be the focus....your towels and any pictures, not your faucet or your towel hangar. I have used and liked some chrome fixtures though....quite a few in fact. I will encourage anyone who wants their fixtures (faucet and tub) to look nice to wipe them dry after use or to learn how to manipulate the handles without drenching the handles and countertop with water that runs off our hands. It largely depends on the hardness and maybe the metal (iron and manganese will stain and minerals build up over time while the water just evaporates) content of your water supply. Simply turning off the water with the back of your wrist, with fingers hanging down over the sink, can help a lot. That's easy for me to do but may be impossible for a household! The main faucet I used in my previous home looked absolutely brand new by the time I had used it long enough (years) so that minerals had accumulated in the aerator enough to mess up the even flow. Tubs and showers are super easy to maintain if you dry them out with your towel after you have dried yourself off.
