Good morning. I play with Google Earth, and I do a thing where I drop into your town and city and then find my way out to a major freeway system. (no tolls for me). Yesterday I was in Ohama Nebraska. I dropped into a nice neighborhood, lovely split-level homes with manicured lawns. About the third house I found this. It is early spring and defiantly not Halloween. I quickly found I-80 and got the dickens out of there.

True for me.

Ann when you do your google search do a screen shot of your relative's house as if you were standing on the other side of the street. Then send it to them in a text announcing your arrival. lol 'Hey all I am here.' My friend in California is still looking for me outside of her house.

after my comment with the photo of 3 Junes I was off my phone a few hours.. Laurie..hmmm..I never thought about having a seedling..I've seen June reversions here and just assumed reversion..when I took a close look at the blue leaves on my Junes they appear to be part of the crown..it made me reluctant to separate them..not as easy as I like..lol.. debra..I take it back..I said what you thought could be ADG didn't have cupped leaves like my ADGs..I see cupped leaves in your recent photo..you're another one with a lot of blues!.. some of my ADGs are extremely cupped..see the leaves at the top of this pic?..maybe they flatten as they grow..

There are so many nice yellows here. Gardenweb is not working for me today so I probably won’t be able to post. Houzz usually doesn’t allow me to post pics. more pictures..it's March 1st..a new month makes me happy..😃 it doesn't seem possible that I could see this spring look in 2 weeks or less..pic taken March 15 2024.. I love Krossa Regal..these were "free-you dig"..who wouldn't want these?..they were very nice people but I don't understand their decision 🤷‍♀️..their backyard was almost empty..and really sad after I took the Krossa Regals.. I saw a crocus..just one in a random spot..I didn't plant it..

I'm not a naked runner but I am a naked gardener hahaha.. nice pics everyone..hosta blooms aren't all the same are they?.. I don't have as many blooms as you people..my shade?..oh well.. Krossa Regal..taller than the mailbox post..my house in this photo.. can't tell in this photo but the house across the street has hostas with more blooms than mine..faces south mine faces north.. I have addresses of my cousins out of state..I haven't been to all of their homes..maybe I'll do some Google visits 😉..

I have Yellow Polka Dot Bikini..what a cute name..as usual mine is smaller than Laurie's or Saija's..😂

but it's big compared to my Praying Hands 😜..

I just noticed..the margins of my YPDB are darker than the center..Laurie's and Saija's have light margins and darker centers?..did I get the wrong label?..

debra..I love Yankee Blue..🙂 how funny is this?..years ago I bought a solid green that was labeled Striptease..I didn't know Striptease wasn't a solid 🤦‍♀️..the tag was handwritten and no photo..if shopping now I'd grab my phone and look up the name..to this day my "Striptease" is solid..no variegation..and now my YPDB could be a Striptease? 😂..I checked the Hosta Library..my YPDB does look like Striptease..

fyi..I did NOT mix them up..my "Striptease" is much older..I distinctly remember where I bought it (Country Harmony..a small local gift and plant store) and where I planted it..I guess I don't have a YPDB..

on the left side from the bottom..there's 2 Krossa Regal..above them is the one labeled Striptease..there's an Abiqua Drinking Gourd on the right of it..I bet my "Striptease" is a common green one..

I like the kitty symbols. How come I can’t make the ears? Where is that? And I like to look at realtor sites, but playing with Google earth sounds fun, too! I have a neighbor with snow covered Halloween goblins still on their lawn.

a screenshot from my post 3 years ago when YPDB was new..it WAS lighter at first..I didn't remember that utog and steve duggins told me that YPDB changes color..just like sandyslopes said yesterday..

Thanks Ann. Yes YBDB does transition later in the season. Mine has never gone as dark as yours but different sun exposure could explain that. I was thinking Striptease like Debra but your pic this a.m. shows YPDB.

Ann I wish I had more shade especially when it is blazing hot out! I got a lot done on my shady side last year when it was just too hot to be in the sun.

Ann, isn’t it nice to know you do have a yellow polka dot bikini and not a NOID? There’s a few that change like that over the season, which seems like a remarkable trait to me. I don't know how they do it. I'm sure the explanation would go over my head, lol.
