Do you have the bulbs for it? Might be very hard to find. Those that want a rustic, old west look but husband more into it than wife, she might like that as the lights are fairly dainty & might ease the pain of "wild west" in the den or family room. They used to be popular years ago, I've been in houses with some. Some actor had home he gave to state in L.A. & it has lot of that kind of stuff. Should sell well on ebay to someone trying on the "west" for size!! Place Prince Charles was playing polo & I think he got hurt a little. Tom Mix maybe??

It's a fairly simple oak dresser with wishbone mirror. Looks to be about the turn of the century...maybe up to 1920. That simple style was often used in hotels and bording houses, so maybe what they told you is only glamorized a little bit. It appears to be solid construction, not veneer, you could probably get $250 for it to an individual, maybe $175 from a dealer....depending on where you live. Linda C

The green-ish one is "Roseville-esque"...art pottery of the same era...but not Van Briggle nor any of the other big names. Very nice vase...I can see it full of daisys, or tulips or zinnias... The glass I believe....for what I can see...is a repro of a carnival glass piece....it appears thick with prominent mold marks and little detail...is that right? Worth...? Not much for either....but the green vase, I like....a lot!

By the way, I forgot to mention that this tea set is usually Made in China and is made of porcelain. You may find this same design with various shapes of the cup, tray (dish) and teapot. However, the set you have is the most popular. Even if it doesn't worth ($$) very much, it's worth keeping it if you drink tea. It is considered as a traditional tea set and in some way, it is also a collectible set. In China, different type of tea is recommended to use with different type of teapotware. ie: Oolong tea is recommended to use with Yixing teapots, a purple clay found only in Yixing, China. Green tea is recommended to use with porcelain or ceramic teaware. Since it's porcelain, hand wash this set only. If you don't know much about porcelain, it is lighter than ceramic. It retains heat longer. It is strong but easily chip. Enjoy it!
