5-light pendant with 100' cord that can be swagged

last month

I think I'm looking for the impossible or perhaps I just don't know how to achieve what I'm trying to do, so I need help.

I'm looking to replace a dated 5-light fixture over a wood dining table in a mountain home (see below). The ceiling is slanted and in order to avoid moving the junction box but to get the pendant to sit over the table better, I need to swag the wire along the ceiling 20". Also, in order to get the light fixture to sit the recommended 36" above the table, I need another 80" of cord. It's a 44" wide table so was looking for something like the West Elm Gull Pendant but that only has 2 bulbs and not enough cord.

All I'm seeing lots of other beautiful pendants out there with rods that won't flex. I could swag the cord along the ceiling before it gets to the rod and somehow cover it but it may look weird. Either way it will look weird but I'm trying to avoid hiring an electrician and drywaller. The ceilings are an ivory color so I could cover the cord and paint the canopy.

Any ideas are welcome!
