If u ran out of containers & had 2 buy some what would you buy?
Comments (33)This pic is from 2 years ago, they are the 8 oz foam cups from the Dollar General store & they are setting in sweater boxes, well the sweater boxes got brittle after setting out in the sun for just 1 year, so I am using cardboard boxes cut to size with plastic over the top, of coarse I don't plan to move them after they have gotten wet. The cups are just the right size for sharing with family & friends. Now for tomatoes, I use the 16 oz cups & only fill half full of potting soil & 1 or 2 seeds per cup, & as the plant grows I add more dirt as needed instead of transplanting, thanks Trudi for teaching me how to do that ") When it is time to go topless, the cups that have sprouted goes into one box & the ones that haven't sprouted yet goes into another box & recovered for a while longer. lilly...See MoreIf you had to do it over - would you buy a sectional?
Comments (41)I wouldn't buy one for the victorian because we try to stay more victorian in here ;) But for our townhouse in alaska, yes if mine ever died a terrible death we'd replace it. It's a natuzzi so it will likely live longer than us (which is good because we had to remove a window to get it in the family room). Very comfy, love the corner and it works incredibly well for a family. That said, I'd never put one in a formal space. I don't like their informal aspects. And that is totally a sectional snob talking because I have to admit I've seen several that are rather formal and quite lovely (some here even) so the "no sectional in formal spaces" thing is just my snob talking. Or maybe it's because I like to separate our guests LOL They might start poking and pinching if all on the same sofa :oP The one thing I think (to me) that makes a sectional not work well is the inability to get up and walk away from it without putting your bumm in someone's face due to a close coffee table. Much like getting out of the window seat on an airplane. It's not fun for anyone involved :oP So put the sofa table a bit aways so people aren't forced to do this??? Or better yet use a couple of tables (matched) so that people are able to get up and walk straight :o)...See MoreWould you buy these (CL) sofas?
Comments (16):) dee you crack me up. I should have written that better! I bought my current sofa set - a love seat and sofa - about 8 months ago. I was about 1-2 wks away from having my youngest DS at the time. Einstien Moomjy was going out of business and I HATED the CL sectional that we had been living with for about 8 months. I wanted to try a sectional before I bought a new one. Boy am I glad I did! We hated it. So then I bought the set we have now at the going out of business sale on the way home from an ultrasound. It is terrible! the cushions are too long for the seats and so they hang over and squish around. They have the attached back pillows which are ripping already. I only have the 4 boys. 2 SS's (21 and 16) and 2 DS (3.5 and 7 months) The boys, the cats, and DH are very hard on furniture. I don't expect a lot. I think the ones pictured above with the back like that might last longer. I did call the seller and she said they were restoration hardware and from around 2002. I have off the next couple of days so I think I will go see them. I am making my DR a play room so the only thing in my family room will be the two sofas and two end tables (and of course random toys that make their way in there. So I think I will have room for them. I will measure though :)...See MoreIf you had unlimited money, would you buy this?
Comments (25)The Maytag Neptune drying cabinet worked like a vented dryer, if I remember correctly. Heat and steam were vented to the outside. The LG Styler and similar products by V-Zug, Asko etc., have a heat pump in them to condense the humidity and return it into water. Basically a condenser dryer/ventless dryer without the rotating drum....See MoreRelated Professionals
