Hi I'm 16 and know all about it! All you parents think you can just talk to your kids keep them to limited time with there boyfriends and have there trust to go to the moves malls ect.. but strict parents only make sneaky kids leaving the places they say they are parents don't really know what they are doing unless they are there to watch them summer school its not hard To leave and meet up with a guy and do stupid things... its not really in the parents control when their son/ daughter is going to give up their purity. Do you really think our generation is that stupid we do have brains not always doing the smartest thing but we do know what's right and wrong trust me I have done everthing my parents thought they could prevent from happing condoms are something u should give ur kids no matter how much u think u trust them or before u know it they will be teen moms/ dads witch could have been easily prevented but its better to give protection because we don't always think before we get warped up and there's nothing u can do after!! That one kiss that goes too far might be the one that changes their whole life!!! Think about it.

I'm so sorry. Please don't beat yourself up about not being able to save him; Nobody can save a pet, or a person, with terminal kidney or heart problems. & I don't think there's any way to predict kidney or heart problems so you could prevent them, or any way to treat them without a lot of discomfort to the dog or cat. & the end result would be the same. Your guy has lived a long life with someone who adores him. "she will try to maintain his quality of life good till she see he is too much suffering and if he don't pass out by himself she will help him do it" You need to have a straightforward, hard discussion with your vet about what she thinks of as "too much suffering". For my own beloved pets, I think that any suffering beyond the occasional "normal" kind of thing is too much. Dogs & cats aren't burdened with the knowledge of mortality with which we humans are burdened. All they know is how it feels right now. If it's horrible right now, & you, the human, know it will never ever be healed, then I think you need to do some hard thinking about why you're keeping him here. I've had to make hard decisions in the past, & I finally developed a sort of rule of thumb that it's better to let them go a little too early than to wait a little too late. Again, I'm very sorry, & I wish you & your dog peace.

I love your quilt. It makes you just want to grab it up and hug it, it looks so soft and cuddly. I love the design and I love it that you just started it and was clueless and then made it into THAT!!!!! This always puts me in mind of the story that if a bee knew it were aerodynamically impossible due to their body shape to fly, then they couldn't. But they didn't know, and they fly. My tumbling blocks quilt was started on an act of faith. I didn't know that was "supposed" to be a hard pattern. I didn't even use a pattern. I just figured it out on my own and cut my own templates. If I had known it was supposed to not be for people attempting their first real quilts, it would never have graced my mother's bed before she died. I have you beat for UFO's btw. I started an embroidered animal block quilt for my son in 1967 and finished it for my grandson in 1992. That's what......twenty five years? You did a beautiful job.

Part of me says let the leaves grow in and you will probably not see the areas of concern. However if this is your long term landscaping plan then think and work strategically. Best long term practices indicate you should remove damaged or stubbed out useless limbs like shown here and in your pictures. Some like to fill holes with Dap Brand caulking. It looks better but there is some discussion as to the actual value. IMO if it can help keep water from pooling in those holes and turning it black then it would seem to be the lesser of the evils. Keep in mind it's at best a temporary measure as sooner or later the caulk will loosen and moisture will get behind it. Envision how you get the plant to stand straight and start using stakes or other types of holders to systematically AND SLOWLY start straightening its posture. Some light pruning of select branches to begin shaping the trees can begin now and take several seasons to complete (IOW don't do it all at once but do it in phases over several seasons). Secondary to your question but even more important based on what you said about the soil conditions in the container would be to pull the plant out and root prune about 1/2 to 1/3 of the ball and then replace the root bound material with more fresh mix. Matter of fact...root prune first as it's a great time to straighten the plant in the container as well. I have a hard time thinking the plants are happy being root bound. There is some anecdotal discussion on Aztec Gold being very happy after years and years of being root bound. But I think that is at most the exception to the rule. Its likely any changes made last year will not be impacting the bloom cycle until this year so I would look for this year to be your benchmark. The mature wood also has a unique bark pattern for a 16 year old plant. Kind of has a Windward side of the island look to it brought about by wet conditions. Not concerning in my mind but just an observation. For comparison purposes the plant in the DAP caulk image was around 15 years old at the time of the image
