Comments (4)If they still make the engineered wood you currently have, just replace it and put it throughout the house. You don't have to rip out the tile in the kitchen if expense is an issue, but I think having continuity throughout is a good thing. P.S. Comments (6)Hi Samantha, I come from a country where these kinds of living arrangements are much more common than in the US, and here are some typical setups: child in bedroom, parents on sleeper sofa in living room or vice versa - bedding gets put away every morning so there is a couch available during the day child in parents’ room - often times a solution like an IKEA Kura bed is utilized, with the bed on the top bunk and a play/desk/storage space below all children in one bedroom I don’t know how temporary this living arrangement is and how attached you are to the existing furniture, but I’d look into IKEA - they offer a ton of smart storage/organization solutions for small space living that might work. Also the Trofast series is great for toy storage. Wishing you the best - these are challenging times but hopefully 2021 will be a bit kinder than 2020....See MorePlease Help My Bedroom Should Be A Living Room
Comments (2)You need closet space. If you can't fit things in you dressers, borrow a closet from elsewhere or put a wardrobe in the sunroom. Next, you probably don't use all the doors. Decide which one/s to block. Given the size of your space, I'd measure everything and do it on graph paper. Cut out your furniture, move it around. I'm guessing you moved your bedroom because you're housing another family member. If it's a kid, you might put your stuff on hangers in their closet. Get your clothes for tomorrow wjen you put them to bed....See MoreRelated Professionals
