What can i change or add to look good, i realu don t like it .

I was also thinking to add some akoustic wood panels in the midle of tha wass

No to the insane wood paneling trend. You have a lot of wood going on in here already. If you are having a problem with acoustics, add area rugs with rug pads under them, add long drapes on the ends of your curtain rod made of a heavy fabric like velvet.

To make the whole area look more full - pul the table away from the window. It is too crunched in. Add a large focal point piece of artwork on the left wall at the short side of your table. Add another piece of artwork above the plant area. You could more the circular object already on the wall to the area where the plants are and hang it lower.

I don't see where would be a good place to install wood panels in this space, I would rather work on the decor:

- Group all your plants on the white cabinet

- Remove the clock from the wall (relocate somewhere else in your home)

- Find a large canvas for the wall in the dining area

- Move the dining table centered with the ceiling light

- Install a chandelier over the table (find one for a sloped ceiling mount - install so the bottom of the chandelier is at 30 to 33 inches above the table

- Install curtains to the floor at each end of the window in the dining room

- Buy an area rug for the living room (legs of seating should all sit on the rug)

- Place coordinated accent pillow on the sofa

Well, the nursery woman is partly right. The plants are grown under ideal conditions, and generally farther south, so they will be two to three weeks farther along when they are for sale than the same plant would be if it had wintered over here. The nursery I used to work at got their shrubs from North Carolina mostly. It sounds like you are supplying appropriate cultural conditions. It may take a couple of years for the plants to adjust to being transplanted and to their new environment. Also, are you in a part of the country that had drought problems last year? That can set plants back A LOT! We had a flowering almond for years, and it was covered in blooms for weeks every spring, until it succumbed to a severe drought several years back. I'm not a shrub expert, but I'm wondering about the fertilizer you are using. If it's high in nitrogen, you may be getting more leaves at the expense of flowers.

I'm glad to hear that the LED lights are working for you. It sounds like you have a much bigger space than we do, with only 2 more lights. I think this was perhaps our biggest mistake -- just too many of these lights. (As I mentioned, I was worried that LEDs wouldn't put out enough light). Maybe if we had only installed 4 of them, the amount of light would be ok. To reduce the number to 4 at this point would require completely re-placing the lights and rewiring. I wonder also if the increased number of lights in our smaller space is amplifying the effect of the flickering? i.e. maybe it wouldn't be noticeable if the lights were further apart? The housing and dimmer switch we have are both on the compatible list on the Cree website. All 7 of the lights are connected to the same dimmer switch. So I'm not sure what the problem is. When they are on at full power, they don't buzz or flicker. We had friends over yesterday and at full power they thought the lights looked great. (It wasn't too bright for them). Then I dimmed them and they didn't think the buzzing was too bad. They also didn't really notice much flickering. But then I started waving my arms around and they were shocked. The strobe effect when the lights were dimmed made my kitchen seem like a disco! Cbjmidwood, when you dim your lights and wave your arms around, is there any strobing?

The thought of ripping out the pachysandra makes my head hurt.. It's not easy, and it also is in keeping with your house. Keep exploring options for adding the shade it needs. White birch trees arrayed throughout would provide just enough dappled shade, as well as a striking design feature. So would many other choices, but the key is to limit the variety, ideally to one. Avoid mixing metaphors, as in plants that don't grow together naturally. Most grasses would fall in that category IMO.

I have been a swimming pool contractor for 34 years. I am Jandy Pro Edge Dealer for about 20 years. As a Pro Edge Dealer, we can offer our clients an extended warranty on their products. Jandy equipment is not just automated systems. They have offered filters for close to 20 years now. My friend and colleague actually headed up the pump and filter division for Jandy and is is still involved with the company. I prefer their equipment as they provide great dealer support, which in turn supports my clients. I've been using salt water systems for 20 years, and quite honestly have never seen any corrosion issues at any of the pools we have built, renovated or service. Our new pools are equipped with a Jandy automated system, pump, filter, heater, Polaris cleaner and a salt water generator. Nicheless LED lighting also. Some pools we add a Del AOP system which uses ozone and UV for santizing. Testing and adjusting the water weekly, will keep things in check. Improperly balanced water will destroy anything it comes in contact with. It's paramount to maintain proper water chemistry. Hopefully the pool builder will guide you on the equipment needed. You may consider prepping for a heater as may want it down the road.

Those curtains on the windows are not very good. Select something more substantial for the ends even if they don't close.

Lighting is often an after thought, however, it's crucial for atmosphere and emotional comfort. A ceiling light is fine for the dining area, and put that on a dimmer. For the living area, get a table light or wall sconce in each corner at chest height. IMO if you want plants they need light so closer to the window for sure and open the window coverings . Much better lighting the one above the dining table needs to about 32" from bottom of fixture to table LED for sure I like 4000K but you can go as low as 3500K and still get good non yelowing light. Art for sure some floor lamp and table light also needed .No wood accent wall
