Not sure if i should go with the savannah-ivory/neutral rug or Lisa-taupe/multi that tumble carries or a darker one such as olivia-ash/multi

Of the ones you posted, I like the middle one the best. But you also say you want some color, and all these are neutral. Is this how your furniture is always arranged, or did you move it so we can fully see the rug? If the furniture is always like this, I'd suggest some rearranging. You also need a bigger rug so that at least the front feet of all pieces sit on the rug. Better still for furniture to fully be on the rug. Are your walls gray or light blue? It's hard to tell in the pictures.

You didn't ask, but you might also look at removing some of your wall accessories. There are a lot of little things, and it would look cleaner/cozier with fewer, larger things.

You could add color with curtains and pillows, or you could incorporate the light blue wall color in a rug. Just a couple of ideas; I think your room could go in many directions. What colors do you like?

IMO you need to fix the room before you worry about the rug.

Clean up your media wall and get a larger screen TV that fits your room better.

Your rug selection should take into consideration the wall color.

First you add lighting thta is how you brighten any space so table lamps , floor lamps for sure .I had never heard of a tumble rug but now what ever you choose will need to go in your washer to start . I lke the arrangement posted by Beverly either one works better than what you have Why is the TV so high it needs to at least sit barely above thta cabinet. I good purge of things not needed too.You have virtually no color in the space so IMO go a bit boho with the rug but not until you fix the things mentioned and a new seating arrangement .

Well our couches normally arwnt like this. we rearannged to make room for the tree during Christmas...so its typically U-shaped. Also i thoguht the tv actually needed to go higher..you think it needs to go lower? I am wanting more color in the space as well...im just not really good at choosing colors andvery indecisive so i tend to stay neutral. also my wall is a blue-green...leaning more green IMO with some gray in it. its called unusal gray by sherwin williams. sorry i keep hitting wrong letters..sorry if i mispell.

I like the first rug you posted, it has color and a good design, and goes well with your furniture and wall color. The other two are too overpowering. There's nothing wrong with the size of your TV if you're happy with it. Be careful, these people will have your whole room redone with all new furniture.

Thank you woodrose for your comment. its not really feasible to get a bigger TV lol. this one is actually pretty new and most people i know...hang their tvs on the wall...sooo i dont really agree with keeping it at eye level...i like the tv higher. I eventually want a bigger console and possible barn beam underneath...so yes i want i keep it higher. Theres many things i want to update but have to do it one at a time and was really just wanting a new rug for now.

I kind of like the third rug, but I’m basing that on how your photos look on my screen that can be deceiving. Agree the TV should be lower, but it’s a personal preference.

Loved the green rug someone posted earlier and looked it up and its a $1600 rug. please things that are in a normal persons budget lol. i change my decor too much to spend that much on a rug but thank you it is beautiful and now upset i cannot afford it lol

For a budget-friendly option, you could get a really large seagrass rug -- they're relatively inexpensive -- and layer a smaller wood rug over it, so you're not paying for a super large wool rug. This 10x14 seagrass is about $500, on sale right now.

You might try looking at esalerugs.com. You can limit your search by rug size, style, color, etc. They have some very affordable options. I have had two rugs for my living room and dining room for a number of years, and have been very happy with them.

Wow yoi people are ridiculous. So because i like my TV a little higher that means i go to sports bars lmao. yes i watch HGTV, have friends and family with classy homes and all the TVs are high up. I think uaving a TV low makes things look cheaper. if you have higher ceilingskings, why would yoi nig make use of that space. alot of people put beams across and tv above it which is what i eventually want to do and it looks amazing and very high end lol. Jewel, some people here have too much time on their hands. You just have to laugh at it all.

I like neutrals too. But, sometimes I do like to add color. We did this with our living room by adding blue in the rug, pillows and a throw.

For your room I’d like to pull the green color from the walls into the rug. And add that color with pillows and throws etc.
