Hosta Lakesides 2024 only
Comments (26)Lakesides are my favorites, with all minies and duplicates I have over 80 of them. LPP does not like too much of a shade, one I am struggling to grow is LS Love Affair, it does well in pot but really struggles growing in soil. I might give up and keep it in the pot. It is getting harder to find Lakesides I do not have and some I have are precious. LS Maestro I got from Jeff of LOTG and I think it might be lost now. I got LS Blue Jeans years back from Green Mountains and no one offers it now. Am so happy to see everyone's posts and pictures!...See MoreHosta R 2024 ^^^^^^^^^^^
Comments (28)Thanks mbug! Your hostas all look so good that it’s hard to imagine you have trouble growing any of them. I must have gotten lucky with my placement of Rare Breed. Ann, I understand avoiding extra work. I have a June that’s needed divided for two years now. But I always feel ambitious this time of year ….when I’m in the planning stage. Old_dirt, I had the same experience with Remember Me and joked that the name fits it. Remember Me because I won’t be here for very long. 😊 Your Risky Business is a stand out! Beth, what a pretty Rainforest Sunrise....See MoreHosta S 2024 +++++++++++++++++
Comments (33)Mbug, that Shimmy Shake has a really nice shape to the leaf. Love the long wavy leaves! Lindalana, that is a great Simply Sharon! If Debra is super late to post, then I am super, super late! I don't know who I would pick to defend me if I murdered someone. That is a good question to debate with the family. I am going to ask my son and husband over dinner tonight! I seem to not be taking pictures of my plants as much as I did before. I think I've just gotten overwhelmed with all the work of the garden. One can only do so much! Striptease. Time to divide it. Getting the fairy ring, but the leaves fill it up in no time! Sun Mouse Sum and Substance. I really noticed this one last season. The coloring and large leaves were so pleasing to look at....See MoreHosta W 2024 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Comments (26)Mike all of yours look terrific as usual, but W&S is stunning and that is an amazing Wolverine! HL worthy. I have asked you before……. What is your secret? Your hostas always look soooo good. Is there a particular soil additive you use or is it your compost? Ann, none of your pics are terrible! I’m with utog, I can find room in my garden for WBMW if you can’t! Lol Your Winsome is lovely and can’t wait for my Winter Snow to grow up like yours! Old_dirt you also have a beautiful Wolverine and Winter Warrior is a really pretty one. I love the leaf shape and colors. Saija, you have an awesome Warpaint! Such huge leaves! You also have a nice Wolverine. Ann, your Wheee, looks fine to me, but maybe pot for the summer and see if that helps it increase. Love the ark joke! That’s definitely me!! Lol Sandyslopes I love the color of your Waterslide and Wu-la-la is looking good. 👍🏽 Sherry, another really great Wolverine and World Up is a beauty! Newhostalady, your Warpaint is looking good now and very pretty W&S. I have seen so many nice ones that I may have to add that one to my collection. My Warwick Comet had trouble with burning too. I kept moving it to more shade. Utog, who would think to put WC in a pot with minis but you? I love it! 👍🏽 debra...See MoreRelated Professionals
