Pink blocker in red oak floors with Loba Supra A.T. help

last month

I am looking for some help/input/suggestions. The house I bought has red oak floors, ideally I want a light color floor but not bare wood, something along the lines of Minwax's Weathered Wood.

Decided on using Loba Supra A.T. as finish, as based on research it's much easier to work with than Bona Traffic Go. Traffic HD would be even harder because we have 4 different levels to cover.

The best plan I could come up with so far was to use some kind of pink blocker like Bona Red Out or Ciranova Pink Blocker 2C and then follow with Loba Stain, Loba EasyPrime sealer, and Loba Supra A.T. finish.

Has anyone used those products together/got good results? Is there something I'm missing?

Can I use oil based stain from Minwax/Varathane or I'm locking myself into water based only?
