Painting Help! Which walls & how far?

We recently did a pretty big update in our basement, and are now finishing it off. Last big thing to do is the wall with the Ms. Pacman machine. We are adding a butcherblock bar to the blank wall, and we are considering painting this section black. I will also be getting a different cabinet for games under the dart board (or possibly leaving it empty, but it seems bare without something there).

Currently we have one wall that's black paneling, and we love how it turned out. Given this is a basement we aren't worried about it being too dark, but we have white blinds on the windows so I'm not sure about doing the entire basement in black. So, question is, will it look ok to paint this entire wall black - and should we also paint the wall with the doors & up the stairs black? There is a piece of wood on the top of the foundation wall adjacent to the stairs (at basement ceiling height) that would make a decent "break" for paint).

Wall(s) in question, along with the other walls in the room.
