click drain Vs grid

last month

Good-afternoon I'm installing a new vanity and sink in A couple of weeks with my girls alot of hair winds up in my existing Sink.We really don't use a stopper in my current sink as I never really need to fill it.I surrently use a mesh screen over the drain hole to capture all the hair, soap gunk and any extras so nothing goes down the drain.

When we install this new sink my wife wants to do away with the mesh screen even though it has always worked well.I don't want to really go with a push rod so I'm thinking of either a grid drain or a click drain A click drain would look nicer and if I ever needed to close the drain i would have the option to do so A grid drain I would have no such option but it may be better to catch any loose hair and stuff before it goes down the drain.

the ideal drain would be one of these two that may have an internal straining basket that I can take out and clean.

I've seen them on Amazon but as far as quality and durability goes its always a hit or miss with Amazon so I'm looking for some suggestions and which way you guys would lean.

I know i still need to maintain the drain but something to capture all the loose hair and gunk is what I'm looking for to cut down on the maintenance Something with an internal basket or do you feel a grid strainer would work better at this than A click strainer?

thank-you
