Jodi Arias Trial--a Question
Comments (10)Okay, I totally agree about her being sex-starved, as well as looking to 'marry well'. He was a real catch for someone in her world. But when you really, really listen to the phone calls, to the tones of voice, you hear a girl who is VERY excited by the outlandish sexual suggestions. But listen to him--his voice is more halting, more hesitant. I'm getting the feeling that she was the one into the kinky stuff, and she TOLD him to act that way--but it wasn't natural to him, he was just trying to play the role she was demanding. It's all in the tone--her enthusism sounds real, his voice sounds almost as if he'd rather be saying almost anything else BUT what is coming out of his mouth. I've listened and listened, over and over, and that's the impression I've gotten, the more I hear the calls, the more convinced I am. But I haven't heard anyone commentating on the case pick up on it at all. And no--you can't believe a single thing she says--she's been caught in oodles of lies, so anything else she says has to be suspect. And there's no way to prove or disprove most of what she's testifying to. Going to be a long weekend, waiting till Tues to hear her describe the actual day/night of the killing....See MoreWater issues with quartzite -help?
Comments (153)@Joseph Troskie Design - That was great how you fixed it. Granite Direct in Central Ohio is being terrible about. They fabricated and installed my Nuage Quartzite countertops. Water stains them easily and doesn't come out every time. They got oil stains the same day as install. All of this was told to me that as long as they were sealed "properly" they would never have an issue with it. Now that I have an issue, they claim that my issue is one of "personal preference." They even say they gave me written documents telling me that quartzite can't be exposed to water and must always be wiped up "immediately." Can't make this stuff up, it's so crazy. They gave me a poultice I can use to remove stains and some more sealer I can use myself and act like that's a favor they are doing me. It did help to reseal, but it looks like I'm going to have to seal basically constantly, not just every 6 months. I'm someone who went in saying I am only interested in something low maintenance because I have a busy family, and this is how they steered me and then lied about it. I respect those of you who are willing to baby your countertops, but I actually did not want to sign up for this!! I want my kids to be able to bake cookies and wash their hands in the bathroom and not worry about stains....Here's a photo of a water ring after it has been airing out for days, and this is after the countertop has been sealed multiple times in the past month or two. Apparently I cannot have a candle next to the sink in the bathroom anymore....See MoreQuartzite Backsplash issue - one slab or three pieces?
Comments (17)Hello again everyone! I was so appreciative of everyone’s advice and wanted to circle back to provide an update. We decided to take a chance and replace the quartzite- and we are so much happier with the new result. They cut two pieces instead of three and did them in order from one slab (per the plan- pretty clear they were trying to only use two of our three slabs). I will say the one seam does drive me nuts, but thanks to all of you, I know it is necessary. Lucky, thanks so much for the advice about using something to hide a seam. Again, thank you so very much for all of the responses....See MoreAria Quartize Polish vs Honed - staining
Comments (2)This reminds me of an experiment I did i ended up just using quartz lol Im to this day confused by quartzite there are conflicting things on line from " its the strongest stone" to its weaker and more porous than marble! I grabbed a sample from a local slab place of what was suppose to be quartzite and left red wine on it ...it completely ruined the finish like I melted away the color...See MoreRelated Professionals
