Twin size sleep-sofa or other 'extra bed' options
Comments (7)A trundle bed might work... I am getting one for DD's room, but I guess I thought trundle beds were more for younger kids or girls. Not sure why I have that impression. I should have explained better -- when we have company, DS #1 will give up his room (biggest bedroom) for guests, and he will sleep in DS #2's room. The boys are 17 and 14 so it's not like they want to sleep near each other, so I thought something more "across the room" would be better than a trundle. I don't think we would have space for a full size futon, but I didn't know there was such a thing as a futon chair -- I'll have to look for that. We also have a few inflatable beds around the house but I'm thinking I'd like something a little more substantial for this situation....See Moretwin or full?
Comments (24)I must be an oddity, but I'd rather be with my husband in a smaller bed than sleep apart from him. Our bed at home is a California king but I've slept in double beds at other people's houses and we both survived quite nicely. Neither one of us snores or thrashes around and we're of average size so that might make a difference. When away from home I find it especially comforting to have him by my side at night so I'm a little surprised that everyone else seems to prefer the twin beds. I suppose it's one of those things that's individual to everyone, there's no right or wrong answer. I know a friend of mine had to have her husband move to another bedroom because as he became older he thrashed around so much she was in danger of being injured. She definitely would prefer twin beds in a guest room!...See MoreNeed help locating Twin XL sheets with pockets to fit 18" mattres
Comments (5)We custom ordered some last year from a Wisconsin shop for our son's dorm; I wanted a top sheet and flannel with fitted feet so they would be easy to put on neatly and stay put on the bunk. Just give them the size of the mattress and other specifications. http://bedderbedding.net/...See Moredesign dilema bunks or full trundle
Comments (9)12 yr old granddaughter from my son, and 8 yr old girl and 6 yr old boy from my daughter. can you tell me where i can get full over twin trundle. my beach house is very small, ceilings were low so we had 2nd floor ripped off and now will have 9 foot ceilings. my husband's idea. I would have sold it and bought bigger. its cost a fortune due to covid....See MoreRelated Professionals
