What color towels for hall/kid's bath?
Comments (4)I have to agree with meg - I bought beautiful towels to go with my aqua bathroom - a perfect match. After my DD left for college I washed and cleaned up the bathroom and noticed that ALL of the brand new towels now had a "lovely" tie dye look. Same with the nice expensive aqua sheets that were on her bed. Now when she comes home I put in white towels and white sheets - though you can't close the barn door after the horses get out. LOL Some face washes will do that to towels too. If you don't care about the towels then let them pick the colors!...See MoreBath towel color suggestions
Comments (5)I prefer light colored towels, so for myself, I might consider a light yellow. You might ask them to buy the towels at JCPenney or Sears and keep the receipts until you have had a chance to see the towels in the finished room....See MoreWhite guest bath towels
Comments (38)The button idea is great! I added two towel bars on the wall in the guest room. They are mostly behind the door when the door is open. They are a light color that almost matches the paint so they don't stand out. My sister's family of four are my usual guests so this gives them additional drying space (besides the bathroom rods). When they're not visiting, I use the bars to hang the clothes I'll be packing for a trip as I gather them in the days before packing....See MoreStinky Musty Bath Towels
Comments (34)No oil on the clothes. Didn't have Woolite at the time and this was some nice stuff so I used dish detergent which was Palmolive, but I also have used Dawn "trying" it per recipe for regular clothes but didn't do nearly as good as with dishes. Ha I'm not afraid of my FL'r so I don't let things like that worry me. I have used Tide liquid(and others) that made so many suds it was covered inside. I must be doing something right, after all mine is 16 years old and running as good as it ever has. And only 1 service call when it was about a year old due to a power surge. Nothing since. Hope it last 10 more years.(at least) Pink Sorry about your husband. Hoping for the best for him. At least you are a nurse and will know what and how to do when or if the time comes for more constant care. We never know what is ahead of us and that might be a good thing sometimes....See MoreRelated Professionals
