Advice needed with bathroom lighting fixture

We’re looking to find a lighting fixture for our half bathroom and need some advice.

Bathroom Details:

  • Walls:
    • Wall #1: Sink and toilet wall
    • Wall #2: Adjacent wall with painting
    • Wall #3: Wallpaper wall
  • Ceiling Height: 9 feet
  • Wall #1 Dimensions: 61 inches (length)
  • Vanity Dimensions: 32.5 inches (length), 3 feet (height)

Mirror Details: We purchased an asymmetrical mirror. Size: 46" H x 26" W.

Initially, we planned to hang it vertically between the sink and the current lighting fixture. However, we’ve decided it would be more interesting and appealing to hang it horizontally over both the sink and toilet.

Lighting Requirements:

  • Since the mirror will hang horizontally, we believe a lighting fixture with 4 bulbs would work best (vanity)
  • The fixture will need to be re-centered with the mirror.
  • We are leaning toward a black fixture (to add color to the room) instead of chrome/nickel/silver.
  • Shade color & material will be glass.
  • We’re unsure whether the lights should face upwards or downwards—what would you recommend for optimal functionality and aesthetics?

Lighting Fixtures We’re Considering: We believe a vanity light with 4 (or 5) bulbs is necessary since we are moving the mirror to sit over the sink and toilet.

Request: Does anyone have an opinion on what we should do or consider?

The objective is to continue with the bathroom's vibrant, fun, and unique design (as shown in the attached photos). All guests enjoy the bathroom style and vibes. The wallpaper, mirror, and painting are bold elements, and we want a lighting fixture that enhances the overall look. Something that will exude the design of the bathroom.

Thank you!
