URGENT!!Need help with Kitchen Appliance selections!
Comments (5)Our kitchen has been finished about a month. We bought all KA appliances. We have the french-door 36 inch. I love the freezer on the bottom. I have the counter-depth, which is not as deep as the regular but it is very nice. I did not choose the ice and water on the outside because it gives more room inside without it, also, because I have hardwood floors and I did not want anymore water on the floor than necessary. It has a water dispenser on the inside which is very nice. I really do not miss it on the outside as I would rather have the space inside the frig. I really like the range, but the grates are very heavy and I feel like I am always cleaning it.I cooks very good. I love my dishwasher, it is very quite and the dishes come out sparkling. The micro-wave is above the range, it is good also. I hope these appliances continue to give me good service and appearance....See MoreUrgent help needed selecting granite color for Maple Honey Spice
Comments (36)Hi, everybody: It finally happened. The kitchen is done and I believe the colors and contrast match perfectly. Like most everyone else, we'll live with it for a while before deciding what do to with the backsplash. Again, thanks everyone for helping us deciding the contrast that was best for us. Joe Ps. Comments (1)Here's what I'd do. Bright clean white trim, and on the walls, pale warm cream everywhere - gray will make the turquoise look garish, while the cream will work with both that, the gray counter, the gray linoleum, and the oak. Tying the whole thing together with one pretty shade will make it seem larger, and more welcoming and fresh. B. Moore's Decorator's White is hard to beat for a good trim white. In Benjamin Moore paints, look at Linen White, Mayonnaise, and Windham Cream, for starters. If you have access to Pratt & Lambert, try their Swiss Coffee, Seed Pearl, Puffball, and Downy Gray, which isn't gray at all. Martin Senour has a very pretty Linen White as well, and from Sherwin Williams, there's Honied White (which drives me nuts, because it ought to be spelled "Honeyed!"), French Vanilla, and Dollop of Cream. Is that enough to drive you right round the bend..?...See MoreNeed Help with Paint Color-Urgent!
