High kitchen faucet for small kitchen sink?

last month

I am updating my tiny kitchen. No structural changes. Refacing cabinet doors with white shaker doors, replacing counters with white quartz counters.. cabinets hardware- polished nickel. Sink will be replaced with a kraus standart pro sink (10" deep). Cabinets above sink with be replaced with a couple of shelves. Wine rack cabinet will be made into a regular cabinet. However, I like a kohler component kitchen faucet k-28269 in a polished nickel finish but it's 18 inches high. My kitchen is very small and the sink base cabinet is 27". Is the faucet too high? (and will I regret the polished nickel finish) I have more of a contemporary/transitional style
