Maybe post pics of the rooms next to kitchen to give an idea of your style already in place.

Maybe it looks fine in person, but in the photos, I see a cabinet color that should not have been paired with that floor color. I would be very careful choosing the backsplash to try to bring these elements together.

nice counters. maybe this tonal will help with cabinets and floor....nice neutral shades.... not feelin the green or the busy black and white choice. bring in other samples..sounds like you want something w detail for the splash area. theres a lot of choices.

you have chunky doors/ the pattern here will work for a counterpoint....as long as the colors look subtle enough. i think your green selection will just get lost and the other is too bold. .

I’m not sure either would reflect the rest of your home. I agree a more neutral tile. If you need to add some colour or pattern after do so with some accesories

The pattern would look great in your kitchen, but the truth is that you may tire of it quickly and a more neutral pattern or color gives you flexibility to change things up much more easily. Add your pattern touches in accessories and art. Big art! Colorful bowls and trays etc. Things that easy to change out when the whim hits you.

Agree neither would work and neutral is best with the oak cabinets.

What color are the floor tiles. On my mo it they look beige. But, I would like to know for sure.

Just saw all the kitchen pictures. If the veining is your countertop has some beige/ivory in it you can choose an ivory tile (pick the colour from the countertop).

Would you recommend a matte versus gloss tile with the leather granite?

Depends on the tile…gloss helps light bounce around but can look dressy. matt can perhaps lack the differentiation w counter but if you have a shape or pattern thats a detail and might be enuf…..so it depends. tiles are each unique . bring some in or take a good photo of counter and go to tile store……your counters are fab.

Get white, ivory and light beige samples in glossy and matte. That is the only way to know what works. The countertop is the Star of the room!

I would choose one of the 2 on the right my preference being the one that's whiter than the other. Of course it's difficult to judge precise colours off our screens and cannot tell if it's a glossy or matte finish.

glossy and wavy? if you like those details ....the middle or more subdued color. itll be nice.

I’d be super careful in this situation where a color that is perfect with the cupboards doesn’t seem to address the walls and floor. My choice would be a short backsplash of the counter material so as not to introduce new colors. Or simply repaint that wall and no splash is needed.

Your new samples have texture, they catch too much light. If you want glossy tile, get a smooth finish.

Thank you for all the comments! We are leaning towards the off white. It is textured and gloss finish and pulls the white in from the granite :) This is by far the hardest project I’ve done. It’s challenging with the oak!!!
