It was just like Christmas for old people!

DH took over grocery shopping a few years ago and actually enjoys it at times, except the closest grocery store (WM) is ten miles away because we're in the country in another town. He'd always call to let me know he's headed home so I can help bring in the groceries which are always a big haul, and the kitchen is a long way from the front door.

We knew frigid temps were coming last Sunday & we were very low on food. Poor DH.

Last Sunday night at 9:30pm, frigid with north winds howling, DS called to tell me WM accidentally left their groceries on our front porch. His driveway is close to ours but his house is up a hill behind us. They deliver groceries in the country now? There were a lot of sacks sitting there.

Monday morning I placed a large order and it arrived at 1:30 pm. Frigid and windy. All we had to do is take the grocieries from the porch to the kitchen.

I'll say something most people wouldn't say, thank you WM! :)
