I'm sorry, I'm so excited I have to post again!
Comments (16)Thanks, guys :-) Some mildly analytical stuff: 1. The containers that have sprouted are all part of a the ones I grouped together in big garbage bags...I guess that ups the temps a bit, having the big plastic around them. I put a lot of containers in the bags for easy transport and for dog protection (from picking up a container and running off with it...which has happened before). Not all the containers in the bags have sprouted (there's a whole lot more of them), but those on the list above have. 2. The sprouted containers are also with a group of containers that are in Southern exposure. ( I have other bags of containers on my porch, in Northern exposure). This proves why it could be bad to have them in Southern exposure, because now, I'm more inclined to worry, since we now have snow and it's going to be in the 20s or lower tonight. But then, the ouotdoor temps have been in the low to mid 20s every night for the past two weeks and that didn't keep them from sprouting. ..but I'm not looking at those containers or opening them up...not for a few days, at least. Whatever will be will be...and I have a feeling a lot of those sprouts will be just fine. --I think I do need to slip a thermometer inside one of those bags of containers, though. I'm curious as to how much warmer it is in there. Linda...See MoreOh I'm so thrilled - thank you Lowspark!!!
Comments (40)When I think it can't get any better, it does. May, I love everything, the bowl, the cookbook and the wine. Just a perfect package. Lars, we have mesquite on our land and DH does the same as your Dad. I have seen some beautiful furniture made from mesquite. There is a place in Austin that makes mesquite dining furniture and I wanted it until I found out what it cost. Well, I still want it! The bowl is beautiful. May, you shop good. Have fun, Stacy....See MoreOkay, so I think I'm done...Thank you ! (PICS)
Comments (81)That is the prettiest backsplash I have ever seen. I love: - the surprise sparkly squares - the color flow between the backsplash and the granite - the large amount of bright white in the backsplash and granite, with a minimum of grey (I like silver/gold, but not grey tones) - how the cabinet stain seems to match a hue in the mosaic backsplash... PERFECTLY! As though the cabinet stain was designed for that mosaic or vice-versa. Wow. Also quite clever is that curve-around feature on the peninsula. That looks very fun and very practical. Questions: Do you do cartwheels into this kitchen every morning from sheer glee? Did you put brackets under the granite curved out part? What chairs did you settle on ? Thanks to the person who linked to this thread from a posting today!...See MoreLOOK! I'm a cover model! I've been 'touched up'
Comments (32)Kay and Country Sunshine, for about $700 and many years of training, you too can use Photoshop to remove facial hair and wrinkles (none of which I had to do for Kat by the way). :-) Joann, I made a version of just Kat in case she wants to add it to the KT album or Facebook.
