Comments (6)Thanks! I *was* good at Sketchup. I spent way too many hours working on that. I haven't touched it since the kitchen was done, so it would take me a while to get ramped up again. The switchplates were painted by a local (Denver) craftsman who specializes in that. His website is below Here is a link that might be useful: Taken for Granite...See More10yr kitchen refresh
Comments (34)akjr, our range is a Maytag Gemini from 10 years ago. At the time, our DDs were 2 and 3 so I liked the knobs for the stove top away from little hands, even though it decreased the pan area some. We have liked the separate ovens, especially at Thanksgiving and for baking. It has served us well. Knowing it is 10 years old, I just am assuming it will need to be replaced soon. Thanks to everyone for their comments. The desk is further along than this, but I'm working on the top trim for the hutch next to the desk now....See MoreKitchen Furniture Refresh
Comments (4)Your kitchen looks great. I can see why the PB classics are feeling heavy in your new light and bright space. I would like to see some texture brought into the space. I think it can transition well with your lighting. Speaking of lighting....can I see a better picture of them? Are they all the same? I can barely see your Living room but can spot some woven shades at the window. I think these Serena and Lilly Stools would be lovely in the space I like that the gold bar and wrapped legs add a bit of glam. They also come in gray and both have your choice of upholstery Here are some others possibilities that would work Ballards . Reasonable price points What size is your current table? Do you feel it fits well? Have you considered going larger?...See MoreKitchen mini- refresh
Comments (62)LOL, IIRC your DH is an electrician? Did he notice my funky exposed wiring? My guy tells me it will hang straight eventually (it is shipped as a coil). But I feel vindicated about the exposed wire. I saw it in a UK decor show last night (love love this room BTW), and in a lamp DD got from Ikea.
