We haven’t installed everything yet. I’m just worried bc I can’t visualize it. I hope I don’t have regrets. Someone told me give yourself time and you’ll love it just may be initial shock once everything is changed. I was looking for some advice or sample pictures. I did search for ideas but I don’t see those two metals mixed for what comes up

Thank you! The sconce is listed as a "wall sconce" by Aerin Lighting. It also comes in Antique Brass and it pivots - may be helpful over floating shelves. It will be hardwired. I've been searching for a sconce that is somewhat affordable and does not look like a bathroom or entry/hallway fixture, nor industrial. I liked the clean lines of this one, but am certainly open to suggestions. We cannot use can lights due to the roof line above the ceiling - existing can lights nearly caught on fire due to space restrictions (and I suspect moisture). They no longer work, but cannot be removed without tearing out the ceiling, hence a remodel. The ceiling will be stained somewhat dark. I like bronze spots best, but worry about mixing colors. If you advise that bronze spots will work with brass sconces, then that is the direction I would prefer over the various nickel finishes. Will it be OK to use black metal wine racks if we use bronze spots? The spots are by Pure Edge Lighting and called "Rebel" I really need and look forward to your professional advice! Thank you!

I got an email from a designer. Here is what she is advising: Polished Nickel: All cabinet handles in the kitchen Polished Nickel: Main and prep sink faucets Antique Brass: All Light fixtures (I have asked her if we can have some polished nickel but have not heard back) Door handles ?? Ideally should have been in antique brass like the lighting, but not a disaster in oil rubbed bronze. So, I told DH that the 4 oil rubbed bronze on the bedroom doors upstairs (we only have 4 passage doors installed in the project) and the 2 oil rubbed bronze exit/entry doors in ORB are the only ones that should be ORB. Going forward we will choose antique brass. I told him I would live with the 4 ORB on the passage doors, as long as I did not continue to have to choose ORB, especially when it comes time to choose metal finishes for the two bathrooms upstairs. I would be happy to sell the 4 passage door handles and replace them with antique brass, but true to a husband's thinking, that would be a waste. I will not be replacing the exit doors locks as they were costly for sure. So, what do you think. If our favourite kitchen and bathroom finishes are polished nickel (or chrome in the bathrooms) and antique brass, than we should keep the door handles in one of those two sheens? Or given we have four passage doors handles installed in ORB already, would you carry on with this sheen for all of the other doors in the house and make it a third metal in the mix?
