Oh, Jasdip!!!! That is perfect!! Used to drive me crazy!

While I don't normally do this, I'm flagging the above comment as I don't want to see the entire thread get pulled because of one post. No politicks allowed here...these "smile" threads are an escape from such.

I accidentally shut my cat's leg in the car door once- she had jumped up on the hood of the car as soon as I stopped in the driveway, and walked up to the windscreen then as soon as I opened the door tried to jump into the car through the gap. Unfortunately it was just starting to rain so I jumped out of the car and quickly shut the door behind me then started to race into the house when I heard her yowling. I turned around to see her hanging down the side of the car with one of her front legs caught in the front edge of the window frame. Horrified, I ran to open the door and she jumped down and shot across the lawn to climb a tree and glare down at me. I got her down and took her inside and called the vet, who said that if she could run across the lawn and climb a tree it probably was not broken, so just to keep an eye on her and bring her in if it wasn't improved by the next day. Feeling very guilty, I opened a can of her favourite people tuna as she limped around the house. Then I noticed her half-grown kitten also limping. I guess he figured that that's what you had to do to get tuna :-D

Salonva, I did that once, and I got caught. It was the first and last time I cheated. It was in Shorthand class and I couldn't remember the symbol for 'that'. LOL I still remember it.
