Hello all! I'm a user experience designer who converted from landscape design. I'm doing research now for a client who is an interior designer specializes in window treatments. I'm very interested in learning how you go about choosing your window treatments and designers. If you'd be so kind as to follow the link here to complete this brief survey and/or comment with the answers to these questions I'd be so grateful! Lily Window Treatment Survey (on Google) Questions: 1) What do you look for in a window treatment, designer and their service/website? What are your biggest struggles in the process? What about it is easy, inspiring, and delightful? 2) Where do you typically shop for window treatments? Where online? 3) When do you tend to look for them? 4) Who would you go to for help? 5) How would you decide between two or more different designers, manufacturers or websites? 6) Why do you think window treatments are an important, yet difficult item for which to shop?

We have similar windows in the dressing room and master bath off our master bedroom in our MCM house. We have short pleated curtains for those windows. Although seeing your room in your profile pic, I don't think that'd work for you. Perhaps floor to ceiling for the entire wall might look best.

eld6161.........thanks. I too am in Florida. My second shutter vendor was here yesterday to measure and price, etc. The first told me I would find the slider "cumbersome", the second disagreed....and offered a reg. slider or a bi-fold slider. Did you have that option and did you use a bi-fold design anywhere? I do see where it would allow in more light, balance the visual appearance of the door when both open, but I hadn't even been expecting that option and I am typically NOT a bi-fold fan.....thx for any additional info you can share.

Good choices for cushions also. Regarding drapes, try IKEA. They have linen like drapes (I have and really like). They also have great duvet choices.
