Master bedroom update/progress! Help picking wallpaper! PICS!
Comments (31)nutmegxo- I have the embroidered coverlet and a duvet cover whiched I alternate using for my main covering and the euro shams also in the embroidered pattern. My dust ruffle is the satin in champagne, but I will honestly tell you, I did not like the way the dust ruffles are attached. They are attached by a strange type of straight pin which were very difficult to attach. Not only that but the part that was attached to the box spring, tore in several places. The dust ruffles themselves are beautiful, but they way they are attached is not a good idea. Even velcrow would be better. The wallpaper that I was looking at was F&B and the minimum order is 3 rolls, making the price around 900.00. Way too much for one wall! I love yours and may start looking again. It really does make a statement! I love the direction you are going and the color is great!...See MoreLooking for ideas for odd space in bedroom - any ideas?
Comments (14)Rob, if you have less than 30 1/4" between the two walls, it won't work for hairdrying. The user will be banging elbows into both walls. And yes, buyers will notice how narrow it is.. i know no women who sit down at a vanity to put on make-up. I certainly don't. It's a lovely, romantic thought, but not based on reality. The days of long, elaborate cosmetic rituals are long gone. As others have said, making this a make-up vanity will not update the condo, it will date it. My choice would be to make it storage or a spot for a pretty piece of furniture, as others have suggested. If you decide a sink is absolutely necessary, please improve the lighting. And change the flooring to something waterproof and cleanable! The thought of toothpaste on the carpet makes me shudder....See MoreHelp design master bedroom update
Comments (10)If the oak trim stays, the green on the wall will make the oak look even redder. Here is the quiet moments. Maybe install drawers under the window and eliminate the dresser. What is the purpose of the soffit. If it's not hiding something, maybe consider not building it. Consider refinishing the bedroom set. You'll never get to your inspiration picture with all that pine....See MoreLooking for master bedroom decor ideas
Comments (59)I'd space them out. I have those in my family room and prefer them spaced apart. Mine are 3-4" and if I weren't too lazy at the moment, I'd walk upstairs and measure...lol....See MoreRelated Professionals
