I am debating how to improve the flow of my kitchen/breakfast nook area. I am using our formal dining room as my office/hobby room so I am trying to make my table work in my breakfast nook area. I am also wanting out replace one of my recessed lights into a pendant light over the table. I would need to swag it though because the recessed lights are oddly placed and near an AC vent as you can see. However if I center the pendant with the adjacent wall, I’d be blocking the back door with the chairs. Eventually we’re thinking of building a sunroom out back so I want access to our back door. Any help or guidance would be great!
