You're welcome! Yesterday I sent out a bubble envelope. It weighed exactly 1 OZ on my scale...I weighed it several times, placing it in different positions on the scale. Well, today it came back to me as postage due, needing a little more postage, as I guess it weighed over 1 OZ for them....grrrrrr...If I was going into town, I'd sure stop by the PO with my scale and that envy in hand, to see if mine was wrong, or what. No biggie...I kind of thought I might be pushing the envelope (get it?) in putting postage on it for 1 OZ. I often am not in town during the hours that the PO is open, for 2,3, or 4 weeks, so printing on line, and scheduling pick-ups is the way to go for me. Gas is too high to drive into town, without it being a necessary trip and running many errands while I'm there. Postal scales bought locally are really high. Postage printed on line runs about $.25 to $.75 cheaper too, than paying at the PO...another savings. Sue

I installed them all using a Dremel stylus. My cabs are full overlay. No problems. It's been 5 years and nary a slam. I wasn't sure if I'd need the adapter piece, so I ordered one. Ended up not needing the adapter so saved some money getting devices without. Laurie, my doors are painted maple shaker with MDF inserts. They are not super heavy. The door doesn't just up and close on its own. You give it a bit of a shove, as you would with a door that doesn't soft close, and momentum does the rest.

Wow, the rough estimate the HVAC gave me yesterday was between $350 & $450 but the company is supposed to call with a real estimate. I got a call today from the company and the lady said they can't find a roof vent or jack (new one to me) in 8", only 4". I asked if they had ever installed a duct for a vent hood before and she said yes, but not this size. As popular as the Modern Aire is on this forum, I can't believe it's so hard to find the parts. I had sent them the same link and asked if they could order from there, and she said she called that company and was told she had to buy from their local distributor and the local distributor only carried 4". But they gave her another name and she'll call it Monday.

Yes, isn't that frustrating! I was all set to bid on an auction plant a few days ago, but it was the only one offered by the seller I was interested in, and the base shipping cost was HIGH, and it would have seemed outrageous to pay that much for a few fans! (I realize there's a lot of work involved in getting plants boxed up and out the door, but this base cost was simply too too much for me.) Needless to say, I quickly decided I didn't need the plant that much! Do you know any daylily people close enough to you to share shipping costs on the orders? I've been doing that for quite a while now with someone. How about club members? Do you belong to any daylily clubs?
