Front Exterior and Entrance Ideas Needed for Small House
Comments (7)what do people think of something like this (but not quite as heavy/large in appearance) across the top of the windows on the side of the house...either in white or stained wood to give that side some dimension. Also considering hiding the trash cans under the front deck in an accessible area where a door can be made and they can be slid out. Would like to bump out that deck a ways and expand it, maybe have a couple chairs and a small table sitting to the right of the door with some black metal art above it in that empty space by the front door....See MoreLooking for front entry ideas for small space!
Comments (17)That's a beautiful home. I don't think that area really NEEDS anything. If you need a place to put your keys and your purse, mail, etc, a small table like is there will work, maybe even a narrower taller one and have it face the door (on the taller wall). Wait until you actually move in and see how you live in the space. You may not want anything there either....See MoreEntryway ideas for a not too small and yet not really spacious one
Comments (7)Hi Diana Bier Interiors, LLC, yes its not that large, as i wroteits nit enough to place an askeby for example, not too small as my previous apartment's narraow entrway of one meter and yet not too spacious. The only thing i wanted was to have at least something different than a bench and a mirror and caninet for shoes. That is just so boring as it can be done with much narrower entryway too. i wanted to take a bit advantage of these extra bit of space. Right now have Two Ikea Trones staked vertically for shoes and samll things etc. and two ikea Kallax cubes put together to form a kind of a bench, topped with cushions. i have also put ikea knispa storage boxes inside the Kallax cubes, it improves the look a bit and also serves for extra storage etc. The wall is pretty empty.. And yes i cannot throw a nice rug or carpet as the bathroom door opens outwards as is to be seen on the floor plan. it wont allow for a carpet , but just for a thin mat maybe....See MoreEntry Way Ideas (Small Area with 2 doors)
Comments (6)Hi, the door on the right leads to an entrance way for our tenant upstairs, so that is off limits and the door to the left leads downstairs to the basement which is for the downstairs rental unit. What is shown in the picture is literally the only space I’m working with, unfortunately, which has been a challenge! Just looking for ideas what I can put on that wall....See MoreRelated Professionals
