I posted this for you under the DIY Master Bath post, but just in case you didn't see it. sonaliagrawal, my DH just removed an 85" unframed mirror from my boys bathroom. He used two sets of Gordon brand Heavy Duty Suction Cups from Harbor Freight. DH says they were less than $10 a piece. They're designed with a hand grip and a suction cup on either side. They tighten down to the mirror with clips. Without much force, the mirror pulled from the wall and left behind 8-10 blobs of black mastic on the drywall. You then carry the mirror away holding the hand grips, so it helps to have a set regardless of the size of your mirror, so you can balance the weight of the mirror with both arms. I couldn't have removed a mirror this large - it definitely took the strength of a man to carry it away. I used a metal scraper to get off the mastic blobs that would be visible if I remodel with two framed mirrors. They came off but took the top layer of paper from the drywall. Any blobs that will be hidden behind the new mirrors are being left as is. I spackled the torn drywall spots today, but haven't sanded them yet. If there's a better way to get off the mastic, I'd love to hear it. Hope I helped.

Hi, yes! After sampling BM Par Four 470, Woodlawn Blue, and Healing Aloe; and SW Windowpane and Rainwashed; I opted for BM Healing Aloe. The painters got it on the walls today and it is very pretty. The green is more subdued and silvery in the cool light, but still shows up, which is what I wanted. The other colors I tried were very pretty, but I wasn't feeling the more saturated blue-greens Woodlawn and Rainwashed). Par Four was a great contender, but too similar to the old color on our walls. SW Windowpane was sooo close. I'd like to try it elsewhere but felt like the subtle green in Healing Aloe would feel "warmer" than the blue in winter. Windowpane is beautiful though. Hi everybody, After a few weeks t sit with some larger paint swatches (on a white background), I finally chose a color and did the deed! (Note that I may still change the pillow colors, etc, and we haven't gotten any artwork or photos back on the wall, but I wanted to show you all the general result, since so many people commented!) Here's the room now, in BM Slate Blue (mixed by SW during one of their sales). In the photo, it looks a bit more yellow, or something, than Celery's visualization above, but in person, the blue-gray colors come through and I love the result! I think it definitely leans more towards blue-green than blue-purple, which is nice too. Thanks, everyone, for your suggestions along the way!
